Charlie Cox, the star of the Netflix Daredevil series, put forth a strong case for She-Hulk’s Tatiana Maslany returning to the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+. Cox and Maslany made a stunning team in She-Hulk. It was easy to see the chemistry between their characters, Matt Murdock and Jennifer Walters, both in court battles and offscreen. They had a balance that worked perfectly for the Marvel show, with Charlie Cox exuding strength and confidence while Maslany masterfully portrayed her vulnerable yet courageous attorney fighting for justice. Fans of both characters are elated at the prospect of getting to experience more of their witty repartee, intense powerhouse brawls, and on-screen romance if that even happens.

“I’ve made it no secret that I’m a huge fan of Tatiana’s and the fun we had on She-Hulk was some of the best fun I’ve had as that character. I thought she was amazing as Jennifer Walters, and I would be a huge… certainly an advocate of her showing up in our show if she’s free and available and willing and all of those things. So I would love for that to happen. I have no idea if that is possible.”

Charlie Cox Excited for Potential Marvel Crossovers in Upcoming Daredevil Series

Charlie Cox brought to life Matt Murdock in Netflix’s Daredevil series from 2015-2018. After the move of Daredevil from Netflix to Disney Plus, Charlie has expressed his great anticipation over the potential for crossovers between Marvel characters. Many fans consider Charlie a fan favorite as he was praised for his unique portrayal of the vigilante hero Matt Murdock.

Despite his craving for an offbeat villain, Cox refrained from sharing any theories about them, clearly not wanting to start a false speculation or set his fans up for disappointment if his ideas don’t materialize. While he managed to stay tight-lipped, one exception made its way through and that was the villain Stilt-Man whom he dubbed ’ludicrous’. Stilt-Man made his first appearance in Daredevil #8 in June 1965. His suit of armor, equipped with powerful telescoping legs, makes him a formidable opponent, especially when it comes to committing high-story heists. Despite primarily being an arch-enemy of Daredevil, he has also faced off against other heroes like Iron Man and Thor.

“I don’t know anything. I haven’t read anything from any scripts. So I don’t know. I have no idea. But the only thing that’s fun going forward for the Daredevil show is that of course when we were on Netflix, we didn’t have the opportunity to really have the crossovers other than the characters that we knew we had in that Netflix Marvel world,” he explained. “Now that door is wide open to all sorts of possibilities and that, for me, as someone who’s become a great fan of the comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s really exciting that that door is open and that we can have cameos from other characters that we couldn’t before.”

Daredevil: Born Again will arrive in 2024.
