A trio of clips from the upcoming Disney+ movie Chip ’n Dale: Rescue Rangers tease the return of the Disney chipmunks as they make the leap into live-action. Starring John Mulaney as Chip and Andy Samberg as Dale, the new footage (which comes courtesy of JoBlo) offers just a taste of the snappy dialogue and meta-approach to the material, as Chip ‘n Dale must reunite once again to solve a mystery.
The second clip, meanwhile, puts the spotlight on some of the other animated characters that will join the chipmunk duo in Chip ’n Dale: Rescue Rangers. Featuring an assortment of different characters created with an assortment of different animation styles and techniques, the clip offers our best look yet at Will Arnett’s villain, Mean Dean, a middle-aged and overweight clone of Peter Pan.

Finally, a third clip from the movie further teases the vast array of familiar animated faces while revealing what is likely to be the beginning of the adventure.
In Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, beloved Disney duo Chip and Dale are living amongst cartoons and humans in modern-day Los Angeles, but their lives are quite different these days. It has been decades since their successful television series was canceled, and Chip (voiced by John Mulaney) has succumbed to a life of suburban domesticity as an insurance salesman. Dale (voiced by Andy Sandberg), meanwhile, has had CGI surgery and works the nostalgia convention circuit, desperate to relive his glory days.
When a former castmate mysteriously disappears, Chip and Dale must repair their broken friendship and take on their Rescue Rangers detective personas once again to save their friend’s life.
