Author Jack Carr explained more about the prequel series, which will be following Ben Edwards, who is played in the series by Taylor Kitsch. Carr commented:
“I’m excited to announce that the second season of The Terminal List is on its way, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to reprise my role as James Reece. This season promises to be even more intense and action-packed than the first, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it. And for those who are fans of Taylor Kitsch’s Ben Edwards, I’m happy to say that we’re also working on a spinoff series that will delve deeper into his story and follow his journey from a Navy SEAL to a CIA operative. And to make it even more exciting, I will also be appearing in this prequel series! I promise you it will be just as thrilling and engaging as The Terminal List. Stay tuned for more updates and we can’t wait for you all to join us on this journey.”

The Terminal List Will Probably Not Gain Better Reviews From Critics In Season 2
The Terminal List was released on Prime Video last year in the middle of “the summer of Pratt.” With the actor already appearing in Jurassic World: Dominion and Thor: Love and Thunder on the big screen, Chris Pratt also turned up as James Reece, a former Navy SEAL who finds his life in danger as he investigates why his platoon was ambushed during a covert mission. Although the series holds an impressive 94% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, the critic approval rate languished with a 39% approval score and was heavily criticized for being overlong, chaotic, and muddled.
With the second season set to continue along the same line as the first, it is unlikely that the new season will get a different reaction from the critics who hated it the first time around. For all those fans who loved Pratt’s first outing as Reece, though, there are still several other books to be adapted if season two goes well. If the viewership remains high for the series, we can expect to see much more of The Terminal List on our screens in the coming years.
