Bring Clerks III home in December with the Blu-ray release of the comedy sequel, courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Currently playing in theaters through special screenings hosted by Fathom Events, in addition to a separate nationwide tour featuring writer-director Kevin Smith personally showing the film to fans, Clerks III caps off the trilogy that first began with the 1994 original. If you can’t catch it in theaters, or if you have done so and simply want to own a physical copy to keep at home, you can pick up the Clerks III Blu-ray when it goes on sale on Dec. 6, 2022.
This movie has been rolling around in development hell for years before it finally managed to get on the right track, delivering in a way that earned the film Smith’s highest audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Clerks III notably brings back Brian O’Halloran and Jeff Anderson to respectively reprise their roles as Dante Hicks and Randal Graves. This time, the clerks are teaming up to make a movie about their lives as Quick Stop employees after Randal survives a heart attack suffered on the job. The synopsis for Clerks III reads:

Smith is also back as Silent Bob alongside Jason Mewes as Jay, with other returning franchise stars including Marilyn Ghigliotti as Veronica, Trevor Fehrman as Elias, Rosario Dawson as Becky, and Scott Schiaffo as the Chewlie’s gum representative, among others.

That includes two separate documentaries, with one focusing on the making of Clerks III and another examining three decades of Clerks movies.
