The latest look at Creed III finds Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis part of a picturesque family. Putting the spotlight on Jordan, Tessa Thompson as Bianca Taylor, and their child, Amara. Released courtesy of the official Creed III Twitter account, the poster teases Adonis’ idyllic family life. A life that will be shattered in the sequel thanks to the return of a dark figure from his past. You can check out the new poster for Creed III below.
Wishing us all a happy holiday, Adonis certainly looks happier than he has ever been in the franchise so far. Gone is the perpetually furrowed brow and unrelenting anger from his face, replaced with a calm contentment now that he has achieved his dream and gotten a family of his own. But, unfortunately, it remains to be seen what happens to this wonderful image of family life when Adonis is once again faced with a deeply personal, and no doubt very violent bout in the ring.

Creed III Centers on Michael B. Jordan Versus Jonathan Majors
MGM Studios
Creed III picks up five years after Creed II. After dominating the boxing world, Adonis “Donnie” Creed has been thriving in both his career and family life. But when a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian “Dame” Anderson, resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face-off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Donnie must put his future on the line to battle Dame – a fighter with nothing to lose.
Aside from following Adonis and his family, Creed III will largely center on the battle between Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed and Loki star Jonathan Majors as his old friend, Damian “Dame” Anderson. From what we have seen so far, Majors’ villain will be the most brutal fight Adonis has ever faced. But there will be much more to Dame than audiences might expect…
“I think he has an intensity and a realness of character we haven’t seen before. He’s a grounded character who’s antagonistic by nature, but it comes from an honest place, real emotions,” Jordan, who will make his directorial debut with Creed III, said of Majors’ character recently. “He’s not a moustache-twirling villain; I wanted people to understand him, and to make it hard for people. I think those make for the most complicated and interesting ones to watch.”
Creed III is directed by Michael B. Jordan, with a screenplay by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin from a story they co-wrote with Ryan Coogler. The sequel stars Michael B. Jordan, Jonathan Majors, Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Wood Harris, and Creed 2 star Florian Munteanu, as well as Selenis Leyva, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Spence Moore II, Mila Davis-Kent, and Canelo Álvarez.
Creed III is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 3, 2023, by United Artists Releasing.
