Criterion has some big plans for their upcoming Janus Films retrospective.
In a story from The Digital Bits, Criterion is going to be putting out the Essential Art House: 50 Years of Janus Films.
In addition to being loaded with classic art films, the set will contain a hardcover book that will give the history of Janus Films from film historian Peter Cowie. Director Martin Scorsese will provide a tribute piece and the set will also contain production notes for all the films in the set.
