The cast of The Flash begins to say goodbye to the series. Of course, many will know Danielle Panabaker for shining in different Disney movies like Sky High or Stuck in the Suburbs. Still, the vast majority recognize her for her portrayal of Caitlin Snow in The CW’s hit series as an essential part of Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen’s team.

In fact, the actress had the opportunity to give life to an alternate version of her character, Killer Frost; a villain turned heroine. And as the series prepares to draw to a close with its upcoming ninth season, Danielle begins to say goodbyes to the role that forever marked her career.

The Flash joined Arrow on The CW in 2014, forming the Arrowerse, a television universe based on DC Comics characters that later welcomed Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning, and Batwoman, as well as Superman. & Lois, which finally broke away from that canon and is building its own franchise.

Will Killer Frost Appear in The Flash Final Season?

     Warner Bros. Television Distribution

The simple answer would be no since the character died in the series’ eighth season. However, it would not be the first time the show brings back someone who was thought to be unable to return. Therefore, the chances of seeing Caitlin’s alter ego again exist.

In any case, Panabaker will be part of the episodes with her regular character, accompanying Gustin and Candice Patton as Iris West. In addition, the ninth season will bring back several old acquaintances such as Oliver Queen, John Diggle, Wally West, Bloodwork, Rick Cosnett, Matt Letscher, and Jessica Parker Kennedy, among others.

The big pending mystery is the return of Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, who became one of the favorite characters for fans but left the series in season number 7. At the moment, there is no confirmation about his return, but fans are hoping for him to appear even briefly so that all members of the original Flash team are present for the Scarlet Speedster’s last run.

The Flash final season premieres on The CW on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 8/7 c.
