Within the long list of projects that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has prepared for the coming years, there is no doubt that Daredevil: Born Again is one of the most anticipated by fans. However, despite having had the chance to enjoy Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home and, more recently, in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, it won’t be until 2024 that we’ll see him get into action in his own show after fans long insisted that Marvel Studios include Cox as the Devil from Hell’s Kitchen in their canon.
After the appearance of Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, aka Wilson Fisk, in Hawkeye, it has become more than clear that the series starring Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld will connect directly with Born Again. However, new details of the show confirm this and make it clear what will unite both productions.

The Tracksuit Mafia Will Reportedly Come Back for Daredevil: Born Again
Marvel Studios
With filming set to begin in a couple of weeks, insider Daniel Ritchman (via ComicBook.com) has gotten some important casting information for the series, which anticipates the return of the Tracksuit Mafia, the criminal group that directly responded to Fisk.
The list reveals five new roles that will be recurring characters. First, there’s Derek, an “Asian-American male in his late 20s to early 30s” who “works at a professional office and assists where needed.” Then there’s Barry, a “slight, bookworm-ish bureaucrat who meets with a colleague,” while Angelo, an “Italian-American, an old-school mobster type dressed to the nines” and Alexei, “a Russian or Eastern European” actor also in the series. Of note, Alexei’s description lists the character as donning “a sweatsuit for his business meeting,” potentially signaling the return of the Tracksuit Mafia that first debuted in Marvel’s Hawkeye. Finally, there’s “Lorenzo, a hot-headed mafioso in a more casual dress.”
Daredevil: Born Again will not continue the arcs explored in the Netflix series. And although this version of the character will conform to the rules of the MCU, which seeks a broader audience, it will be part of a new commitment to more mature productions such as Deadpool 3 or Blade. Therefore, we cannot expect a level of violence like the one offered by the character on his previous streaming platform, but something very different from what has been seen in previous Marvel Studios stories that were clearly aimed at a youthful audience.
