Dave Bautista Will Return As CIA Operative JJ

My Spy tells the story of a newly hired CIA operative named JJ. Since he’s pretty new to the job, he ended up blowing his first mission in busting an illegal weapons-grade between a Middle East terrorist named Hassan and some Russian Mafia. Since he’s determined to make things right, his boss decided to give him another mission. He’s tasked on monitoring the in-laws of dangerous French illegal arms dealer named Victor Marquez. CIA believes the in-laws possess the plans for a miniature nuclear weapon.

However, during JJ’s surveillance mission, he ended up having to deal with the family’s 9-year-old daughter named Sophie who blackmailed him into teaching her some tricks in the spy trade. The pair soon formed a bond as they got to spend more time together. The film ended on a good note after JJ moved in with Sophie and her mother Kate in Chicago after he was re-instated with the CIA.

The story of the sequel isn’t made public yet, however, it is assumed that the film will take JJ and Sophie on a bigger mission.
