Bob Saget Was Loved By Many
Netflix
Bob Saget passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 9, 2022, after performing at a comedy show in Florida. Investigators determined that the veteran funnyman had died of head trauma, likely from an unwitnessed fall in his hotel room. At just 65 years old and still very healthy and active, the news was just as shocking as it was saddening, as Saget was loved by so many around the world.
“Being respected In the stand-up comedy world was everything to Bob,” Stamos said on Instagram on the day the Netflix tribute was filmed. “And the outpouring of love and respect that he got Sunday night at The Comedy Store really proved that he was at the top of his game! He would’ve been so proud to see the celebration we put together for him.”

He added, “So many family and friends- hopefully you’ll all get to see it someday. Mike Binder working on a special. But for now, the tributes and memorials are over. And we face, head-f**king-on the harsh reality of going through life without Bob and his love and his laughter. Not going to be easy.”
