Indiana Jones 5 is Expected to Make an Appearance at D23
Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures
We have yet to see much from the highly anticipated Indiana Jones 5, but that is expected to change when D23 rolls around. All that has been revealed so far is a single, atmospheric still, featuring Harrison Ford as the intrepid adventurer.
Plot details for Indiana Jones 5 remain a closely guarded secret, with fans relying on rumors to establish what the movie might be about. The speculation so far has suggested that the franchise will be sent into outer space, with reports claiming that the Indiana Jones sequel will reunite the adventurer with his old enemies the Nazis through their involvement in the 60s Space Race.
Directed by James Mangold, with a script co-written by Mangold, Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth, Indiana Jones 5 stars Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Toby Jones, and Antonio Banderas. Indiana Jones 5 is scheduled to be released on June 30, 2023, following several delays caused by various production setbacks, on-set injuries, and the pandemic.
D23 is all set to take place on September 9, 10, and 11 at the Anaheim Convention Center, with fans able to stream the D23 Expo 2022 live on Twitter.
