Euphoria fans and Hollandaya fans alike may have finally wished upon a star hard enough, and their dreams have come true. Fans of the extremely popular HBO show think they’ve spotted Tom Holland lurking in the background of a scene as an extra on the set of Euphoria.

Thanks to Holland’s onscreen (well, not anymore since MJ’s forgotten him now, but things could always change) and offscreen girlfriend Zendaya playing the drug-addicted Rue Bennett in Euphoria, fans of the HBO show have been hoping to see Holland appear alongside his girlfriend since the Season 2 premiere. And the frenzy reached a fever pitch after the show’s premiere in January when the Spider-Man: No Way Home actor revealed that he visited the set of the HBO series at least 30 times, with Zendaya regularly sneaking him on set. Later on, Holland even revealed that he himself had “petitioned” for a part in the second season.

Now, it looks like all of those set photos that appeared to be Holland peeking behind Zendaya and giving the peace sign may actually be him! Euphoria fans believe they saw Holland as an extra in the latest episode of the series, which dropped on NOW TV on Monday, February 21st. In Episode 7, Lexi (Maude Apatow) puts on the debut performance of her play, although none of her friends and family know it’s based on her life. While Austin Abrams’ performance as Ethan stood out, fans were still more focused on the audience and one member of the crowd they thought could be Holland as an extra (apparently, Doctor Strange’s spell even worked in the real world and people forgot he was an A-Lister).

Holland has made it known that he wants to appear on the popular series Euphoria, so is it really him? These excited Twitter fans think so, but according to The Mary Sue, the original Tweeter has already debunked the theory. However, many more fans are still not convinced.

One fan remembered the interview for Zendaya said she was trying to sneak her adorable Spider-beau onto the set of Euphoria, saying, “in an interview zendaya joked about sneaking tom holland into an episode of #euphoria… is this it???? 😭😭😭.”

Another Twitter fan said, “tom holland really wasn’t playing around when he said he wanted to have a part in euphoria 😩 #Euphoria.”

Another fan reacted by tweeting out that Episode 7 was, “The only appropriate episode Tom Holland could have made a cameo #Euphoria.”

Then there was a fan who noticed, “Tom Holland would’ve ate this scene #EUPHORIA.”

Then, of course, a number of fans noticed the similarities between Holland’s famous performance of Rihanna’s song “Umbrella” on Comedy Central’s Lip Sync Battle and Ethan’s performance in Episode 7. One pointed out, “ethan is giving big tom holland umbrella energy in #Euphoria #episode7.”
