Austin Powers is the famously hilarious parody of James Bond created by Mike Myers. With bad teeth and a not-so-subtle sexual appetite, the spy from British Intelligence, Austin Powers, charms us all when he is thawed after being frozen for thirty years in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Austin struggles to adapt to the new way of things, where peace and free love ran free in the 1960s, cynicism and distrust took their place in the 1990s. The Austin Powers franchise is not only an original concept, it was popular enough to warrant two sequels: Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Austin Powers in Goldmember and even gained a spot on Netflix.
Austin Powers is not only known for the one-of-a-kind titular spy, but the characters he works with and faces off against. Working with him ranges anywhere from Vanessa to Foxy, both of whom spurns his advances at first which leads their relationship to develop further. Some would say the best contributions to the Austin Powers franchise are the villains, from Dr. Evil to Fat Bastard. Indeed, the Austin Powers villains are well-rounded and likeable, and we’re here to rank those villains. Allota Fagina and Ivana Humpalot will be omitted from this list as they are less villainous and more just used as sexual conquests for Austin. 7 Mr. Roboto

Mr. Roboto makes an appearance in Austin Powers in Goldmember. Mr. Roboto is a forgettable character who is working with Dr. Evil to help fund and build a tractor beam to help execute his plan for world domination. The most memorable scene with Mr. Roboto is the subtitle scene in which Austin misreads the subtitles and Foxy has to clarify by moving something out of the way so that the subtitles can be read properly by both the audience and Austin. This scene also does a phenomenal job of breaking the fourth wall. Apart from this, Mr. Roboto is a pretty forgettable character with few scenes where he makes a mediocre appearance. We know Mike Myers can do better and this attempt at a villain was poor.

6 Number 2
While Number 2 may play quite a large role behind the scenes, there’s nothing that remarkable about him as a character. Aside from his eye patch and his smart head for business, Number 2 is rather ordinary. He is not cruel, and apart from correcting Dr. Evil’s historically inaccurate statements and telling him that one million dollars is not a significant amount of money, Number 2 doesn’t contribute much to Dr. Evil’s schemes. Number 2 is also indifferent to Austin Powers and doesn’t seem to understand Dr. Evil’s decades-long quarrel with Austin Powers. While his younger counterpart, played by Rob Lowe, has a bit more of an impact, it still is not enough to place Number 2 any higher on this list. He doesn’t stand out in any way—he is merely a number two.
5 Mini-Me
While Mini-Me may be a literal miniature of Dr.Evil, he is not an exact clone. Mini-Me makes his debut in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me when Austin is in space. Austin makes the mistake of underestimating Mini-Me but he quickly learns that Mini-me is just as capable as any other villain. Some may feel that Mini-Me was merely meant to be an addition to Dr. Evil’s team and perhaps even a bit of in-house entertainment. However; Mini-Me proves himself to be an individual in Goldmember but branching away from Dr. Evil and becoming a “double agent”, so to speak, working with Austin to take down Dr. Evil.
4 Fat Bastard
This obese bad guy makes a rumbling entrance in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Fat Bastard lives up to his name and always finds the right time for a fart. Another character played by Mike Myers, Fat Bastard is a funny addition to the list of Austin Powers villains, but he is not to everyone’s taste. One of his scenes in The Spy Who Shagged Me involves him and Felicity Shagwell in bed and he is covered in what appears to be sweat and grease from the chicken he is eating. To some, this may seem hilarious, but to others, it may be a bit too grotesque for some to stomach.
3 Goldmember
Yet another on the list that is played by Mike Myers, Johann Van der Smut, or Goldmember, a dutch villain with an obsession with gold. This villain appears in Austin Powers in Goldmember. Known for the fact that he lost his genitalia in an unfortunate smelting accident, Goldmember is an aid to Dr. Evil. With his introduction in a roller disco in 1975, we also see how strangely flexible he is on top of getting a taste of his Dutch accent. Goldmember is evil but he is also a wildly hilarious character and unlike Fat Bastard, he’s not as disgusting, unless he is peeling his skin off and saving it.
2 Frau Farbissina
Known for her fembots and the harbouring of Dr. Evil’s spawn Scott, Frau Farbissina is a hilarious addition to the list of villains. With her powerful set of lungs, Frau is the hilarious lover of Dr. Evil and is always by his side, supporting his plots. Played by the wonderfully funny Mindy Sterling, Frau Farbissina is at the forefront of Dr. Evil’s operations and even keeps him updated when he is imprisoned. Frau is high on the list for her perfect comedic timing and her appearances throughout every single film. While Frau may seem harsh, she also has her moments, like when she describes what Lucky Charms are in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery.
1 Dr. Evil
The mastermind behind every scheme to get money from the government with a personal vendetta against Austin Powers, Dr. Evil is the best and most prominent villain in the franchise, bar-none. Yet another character played by Mike Myers, Dr. Evil is known for his outlandish plots and his want for world domination. While Austin Powers somehow always manages to put a stop to Dr. Evil’s plans, he still persists and moves on with his plans no matter how much anyone may laugh at him. He even has a strong enough presence to warrant an appearance on Saturday Night Live.
