A secret CIA plot threatens Caleb, a former government assassin, by putting a bounty on his head. As Caleb becomes privy to the plot thanks to the help of his protégé Banshee, they must team up alongside Caleb’s daughter to survive.
Code Name Banshee stars Antonio Banderas, Jaime King, Tommy Flanagan, Kim DeLonghi, Catherine Davis, and Dylan Flashner. It’s directed by Jon Keeyes and written by Matthew Rogers.
The official synopsis reads: “Caleb (Banderas), a former government assassin in hiding, resurfaces when his protégé, the equally deadly killer known as Banshee (King), discovers a bounty has been placed on Caleb’s head, which the powerful mercenary, Anthony (Flanagan) is now seeking to collect. Caleb and Banshee must put the past behind them and join together one last time, along with Caleb’s daughter, Hailey (Davis) if they are to survive the secret CIA plot that threatens to destroy them.”

Ahead of the release of Code Name Banshee in theaters and on demand on July 1, 2022, we have an exclusive clip to premiere. The clip opens with the sound of typing on a computer keyboard. “I’ve got control of the cameras, you’re good to go. In and out, just like we planned. There’ll be two in the lobby.” We then cut to an assassin rising up an escalator while holding a gun behind her back. She swiftly shoots the two in the lobby and continues moving forward. “Are there any others,” she asks. “None visible.” She proceeds to an elevator and while waiting for it to open, another opens behind her. Code Name Banshee’s cast are no strangers to the screen, with Banderas’ previous work including Indiana Jones 5 and The Mask of Zorro, King can be recognized for her work in Sin City, and Flannagan for his work in Sons of Anarchy. Director Keeyes also has an impressive background with his work on Rogue Hostage and much more.
