Go behind-the-scenes of the critically acclaimed biographical war movie, Devotion, in this new clip. Led by The Harder They Fall star Jonathan Majors and Top Gun: Maverick actor Glen Powell, Devotion is based on the 2015 book Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship, and Sacrifice by Adam Makos, with this newly released clip taking us backstage and offers some insight into how this powerful true story has been brought to life.

Directed by J. D. Dillard and written by Jake Crane and Jonathan Stewart, Devotion finds Majors (Creed III) and Powell (Set It Up) leading the way in this epic and inspirational true story of two elite U.S. Navy fighter pilots who helped turn the tide in the most brutal battle in the Korean War: Jesse Brown, the first Black aviator in Navy history and his fellow fighter pilot and friend, Tom Hudner. Their heroic sacrifices and enduring friendship would ultimately make them the Navy’s most celebrated wingmen.

MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY

Devotion has been met with rave reviews from critics, with MovieWeb’s own Julian Roman heaping praise on the work of central duo Majors and Powell. “Devotion hits hard in a compelling third act," he says. “War’s aftermath is a difficult road to travel. Feelings of guilt and sorrowful remembrance are explored. No medal or accolade can heal the hole left by the departed. We must fight to preserve their memory and contributions. Majors and Powell are tremendous here.”

Devotion is now available to stream on Paramount+ and to buy on Digital.
