Platinum Dunes producer Bradley Fuller took to his Twitter account over the weekend to set the record straight on a few of his projects. Here’s what he said about Friday the 13th Part 2 in 3D:
The last we heard about Friday the 13th Part 2 in 3D was back in April, when Bradley Fuller essentially said the project is dead, and it doesn’t seem like things have changed. Bradley Fuller also said that a sequel to A Nightmare on Elm Street isn’t happening as well:
(Damian) Shannon and (Mark) Swift wrote a great script. We are ready to go, when new line is ready. But as of yet, they are not ready."
He also said that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is still in the scripting stage, although more details should be available soon:
“As for Freddy, as far as I know, there isnt even talk of writing another script.”
Finally, Bradley Fuller said that the script for the Platinum Dunes remake of Monster Squad should be ready soon also:
“TMNT is coming along. We are working On the script and I hope to have many more details for you in 4 to 6 weeks.”
