Actress Rachel Nichols sent out an interesting tweet last night from her verified Twitter account, which revealed that only three original G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra cast members will return for G.I. Joe 2. Here’s her tweet below.
Rachel Nichols played Shana “Scarlett” O’Hara in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. It seems she won’t be returning for the sequel. Channing Tatum portrayed Duke, Ray Park played Snake Eyes, and Byung-hun Lee was Storm Shadow.

We reported last week that Jon M. Chu will direct G.I. Joe 2, from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. That report also indicates that Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Sienna Miller, who played villains Rex Lewis and The Baroness in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, would not return.
