Maybe the next TV show to get revived will be the comedy series Malcolm in the Middle. Originally airing for seven seasons from 2000 to 2006, the sitcom featured Frankie Muniz as the middle child in the home of a dysfunctional middle-class family. Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek co-starred as Malcolm’s parents while the boy’s brothers were played by Christopher Kennedy Masterson, Justin Berfield, and Erik Per Sullivan. Shortly after learning that Corey Haim would be starring in the upcoming horror thriller New Terminal Hotel, we discovered that his onetime BFF Corey Feldman had also signed on for a new acting gig. Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender series has found its Fire Lord Ozai in Daniel Dae Kim. It’s just been announced that the actor has taken on the role of a live-action incarnation of Ozai in the upcoming series in development at Netflix. Other cast members that Kim will be joining include Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, and Dallas Liu as Zuko. Following the recent unveiling of several details surrounding Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts at D23, including which heroes and villains will make up the titular team, star David Harbour has offered further insight into what this unorthodox gang of characters will bring to the MCU. There is a reason that some new shows are not brought out right away for the Fall TV schedule and held over as mid-season replacements. Deception is definitely one of those. I can’t even imagine this ridiculous idea of a magician being brought on to help the FBI solve crimes making it when stacked against all of the networks most promising new shows in September. I’m going to mention a big spoiler that goes to the root of the premise for the series so if you want to avoid it, skip ahead when I give the warning....

The second season of Delocated will premiere on Sunday, August 22 at 10 PM ET with all new 30-minute episodes. Adult Swim has also provided us with a brand new TV spot for this upcoming season, which features a special message from the show’s creator and star, Jon Glaser. As you would expect on Star Wars Day, Disney made sure that the Force is indeed strong by releasing a new trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi, giving new looks at Ewan McGregor’s Kenobi, the Grand Inquisitor, and a teasing look at the return of Darth Vader.
