Act of Valor filmmaker Scott Waugh has signed on to direct an adaptation of the online video game Hawken for Warner Bros. The game created a lot of buzz at E3 earlier this year, with a web series and a graphic novel already slated for development. The story centers around a post-apocalyptic planet where the hunt for essential supplies turns into a battle for survival. Players control mech-based soldiers in the first-person shooter game, which has over 300,000 registered users....

Beloved cult icon Corey Feldman is returning to the big screen in his first lead role in a US release in over fifteen years. The actor will headline the romantic comedy The M Word, from acclaimed director Henry Jaglom. Full story details have not yet been released, but the film will deal with the ultimate taboo subject amongst sophisticated woman of a refined age. The story centers on an aging porn star, Cassie Wright (Daryl Hannah), who tries to set the record for the biggest gang-bang in history by having sex with 600 men in one day. Tom Sizemore will play Mr. 600 and Thora Birch will play Sheila, Cassie’s personal assistant....

After news broke that David Tennant will be returning to his role as the 10th iteration of The Doctor in Doctor Who, we can now see the actor back on set filming for his return to the long-running British sci-fi series. The Denver Post confirmed reports over the weekend that director George Hickenlooper has passed away at the age of 47. Although an investigation is ongoing, the death appears to be from natural causes and no foul play was suspected. The director was in Denver to premiere his latest movie, Casino Jack, at the Starz Denver Film Festival.
