Chris Evans is spreading his wings since departing the role of Captain America in the MCU. Currently appearing as the voice of Buzz Lightyear in Pixar’s Toy Story spin-off movie Lightyear, Evans has been thinking about the future and other projects that he would like to be involved in. As well as expressing an interest in joining the Star Wars franchise, the star would also love to return to the Little Shop of Horrors project that almost got off the ground before the Covid pandemic hit and shut everything down....

Chris Williams was the co-director alongside Byron Howard on Bolt, which is coming to DVD on March 24 and is already available in a three-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo set. Walt Disney Home Entertainment sent along a brief interview with the director and here’s what he had to say about working on this film. How did you decide on the first big action sequence in Bolt? Chris Williams:The first scene is a very quiet one to get people to connect with the characters and then there is a shock to the system with this really over the top action set piece....

Clark James Gable, known professionally as Clark Gable III, has reportedly passed away. An aspiring actor and the grandson of world famous actor Clark Gable, the former Cheaters host died Friday morning at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Officer confirmed the news. After being found unresponsive in the morning, Gable was immediately given medical attention, but there was no saving the young TV star with such a promising future....

Coulson (Clark Gregg) and May (Ming-Na Wen) go undercover in a new clip from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s second-to-last episode of the season, “Ragtag”, airing Tuesday, May 6 at 8 PM ET on ABC. The former S.H.I.E.L.D. agents try to pass as a pair of Hydra scientists during a meeting at the Cybertek Corporation, with a little help from Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge). Community creator Dan Harmon has announced that despite the television show turning into a movie that will release on Peacock, fans should not expect to see their favorite scenes recreated. Harmon said, “Would anything ever capture the joy of the original paintball episode?” Variety reports that Harmon revealed details about the Community film on today’s episode of Six Seasons & a Podcast. Harmon says that certain compromises had to be made because the movie format allows for less time....

While there have been movements on social media to “cancel” controversial comedians Dave Chappelle and Louis C.K., both performers are nominated for Grammy Awards. Recently, the nominees were announced for the 65th Annual Grammy Awards which will be held in L.A. in February. Chappelle is up for Best Comedy Album for The Closer, which previously generated tremendous backlash upon its premiere on Netflix. Louis C.K. is also nominated in the same category for his latest album, Sorry....

There is nothing quite like watching a well-made action movie. The high speed, gunfights, and everything in between creates an adventure that can’t be duplicated in any other genre. Action may appear to be a simple genre to make, but it’s actually extremely challenging (and usually very expensive and time-consuming) to create a great action sequence, let alone a whole action movie. There is a lot to take into consideration: compelling and emotional stakes, combined with careful fight choreography and editing, a lot of training, the use of stunt coordinators and actors, expensive insurance policies, meticulous sound effects, and much more....

The Good This is one of the most interesting movies you will ever see. The Bad I wish director Shane Meadows would have delved a bit more deeply into his past as a skinhead. I actually reviewed Dead Man’s Shoes when it played theatrically, so it was kind of interesting getting to revisit it again on DVD. While I felt that this movie was flawed, it stayed with me to the point that I am glad to have it in my collection....

You may remember that there has been discussions about an animated DVD feature titled Tales of the Black Freighter that was meant to accompany the theatrical release of Watchmen. Well, according to Rich Johnston at Comic Book Resources, Mike Smith and Danny DelPurgatorio have signed to direct the feature. In the Watchmen comic book, Tales of the Black Freighter is a secondary tale that is shown through a kid reading a comic at a newsstand....

You can bring home of one the most important pictures of the 60s home in 1080p this October. Easy Rider will be released on Blu-ray on October 20. We don’t have any cover art for this release as of yet, but the disc will be priced at $38.96 SRP and will also come with a collectible booklet.
