Fox Invites In The Intruders

Fox is developing the single-camera comedy project The Intruders from actor-writer Danny Comden, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The project centers on a wealthy country club father in Arizona who falls in love with a white-trash single mom and blindsides his kids by moving her and her family into their estate, where the debaucherous world of Lake Havasu collides with the manicured lawns of Scottsdale. “I kept hearing the networks are looking for a family show, and I had a highly comical show staring directly in my face: the family I chose to marry into,” Comden said....

Could A They Live Sequel Actually Work

Sometimes fandom blinds our better judgment. When the parody news website, The Hard Times, proclaimed: “John Carpenter Announces Release Dates for ‘They Live’ Sequels ‘They Laugh’ and ‘They Love,’” a number of fans thought to themselves, those are super weird titles, but They Live is a weird movie, so this is great news! Unfortunately, there is no actual development happening for a They Live sequel, or is there? The 1988 film has amassed an impressive fan base today with merchandise, viral memes, and conspiracy theories that continue to keep the title relevant all these years later....

Dave Bautista Wants In On Netflix S Gears Of War Movie

It wasn’t long after Netflix announced their plans to develop a live-action Gears of War movie before Dave Bautista renewed his campaign to get involved. As time went by, it looked like the former wrestler would never land his dream role of playing the live-action Marcus Fenix in a feature film adaptation of the popular video game....

Denis Villeneuve Always Envisioned A Dune Trilogy

Dune director Denis Villeneuve has his sights set on epic sci-fi adventures far beyond simply Dune: Part Two, with the filmmaker revealing that he has in fact always envisioned a trilogy. While it had always been understood that Villeneuve’s vision for the Dune saga would be told in two movies, the filmmaker has evidently been thinking beyond that, and though he does stipulate that he does not want to spawn a franchise, the director is hoping to adapt more of Frank Herbert’s novels for the big screen....
