Director Quentin Tarantino has sold the rights to his new project Django Unchained to Sony Pictures, despite the best efforts of Universal Pictures to acquire the property. Univeral co-financed Quentin Tarantino’s last movie, Inglourious Basterds, and handled international distribution. Despite that picture’s worldwide success, grossing $321 million, the director decided to go with Sony since it is the home studio of Will Smith, who the director wants to star in Django Unchained....

There has been a lot of talk lately regarding the newly formed Warner Bros Discovery, its CEO David Zaslav, and the overall company’s handling of its DC Comics properties. The state of DC movies has been in disarray for a while now. After WB’s attempt at a connected cinematic universe failed with the box office disaster that was 2017’s Justice League, DC has become incredibly inconsistent and churned out movies without any real overall direction in mind....

Paramount Pictures is set to bring the world of Dungeons & Dragons back to the big screen for an all-new reboot film in 2023. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Man of Your Dreams is from Universal Media Studios and Conaco. The Man of Your Dreams centers on Larry (Michael Trucco), a womanizer who uses his expertise to help romantically challenged women. Zimmer will play Larry’s sister Liza, a smart, hardworking divorcee who is single-handedly raising her teen daughter while running her own wedding-planning business....

20th Century Fox has pushed back the release date of the Dragonball movie from August 15, 2008 to April 3, 2009. No explanation has come from the studio about the date shift, but now, instead of going up against the theatrical release of the Ben Stiller comedy Tropic Thunder, the Emma Roberts starrer Wild Child, and it’s very own Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the film has now slotted itself during a week in 2009 in which no film has yet to announce it’s release date....
