CollegeHumor Media is developing new full-length comedy, Coffee Town. The comedy will star Glenn Howerton (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Steven Littles, Ben Schwartz and singer Josh Groban with Brad Copeland directing. A modern-day workplace comedy for today’s job-hopping generation, Coffee Town follows three thirty-something friends who band together when their freeloading existence is threatened. Glenn Howerton will play an underachieving web designer who plans to stage a fake robbery in order to preserve his daily routine at a local coffee shop, which is being converted into a pub....

The Good Fans of British humor are going to love this film. The Bad This mock documentary seems like it would be better suited for reality TV. A mock documentary of the highest order Confetti follows three couples who are competing for the fictitious Confetti Magazine Most Original Wedding of the Year. All three couples have three vastly different themes to each of their nuptials. For Matt and Sam they have chosen Hollywood Musicals....

Netflix has released the opening credit sequence of Cowboy Bebop, and it is basically the same as the anime but with live-action characters. One of many reveals from Netflix’s Global Fan Event TUDUM was expected to be a full-length trailer for the live-action Cowboy Bebop adaptation. But it looks like fans will have to make do with the title sequence for now. However, it does reveal a few noteworthy details about the show and offers a better look at some characters....

If he gets his way, Danny Masterson won’t have to go back to court to be retried for rape. Back in November, the trial involving Masterson ended in a hung jury which resulted in a new trial scheduled to take place in March. Ahead of the retrial, Masterson’s lawyers have just filed a new motion to formally dismiss all counts against the actor. They argue that the evidence was in Masterson’s favor, insisting that a new trial won’t result in a different outcome....

As impressive as Hulk Hogan might have been in Suburban Commando, Rian Johnson is naming Dave Bautista as the best wrestler-turned-actor in Hollywood. Recently, Johnson was able to work with Bautista for the Knives Out sequel Knives Out: A Glass Onion Mystery. The film is now available on Netflix where it’s been garnering strong reviews, ranking high with both critics and audiences alike at Rotten Tomatoes; its Tomatometer score and audience score are both sitting at 93%....

Has Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld now confirmed that Deadpool 3 will follow Wade Wilson and Wolverine on a road trip? Speaking with Comicbook.com, Liefeld was asked what he wanted to see happen in the upcoming sequel, with the comic legend responding with an answer that seems to suggest that he knows exactly what we’re going to see. Referencing some of the most iconic, beloved partnerships in buddy-cinema history, including Butch and Sundance, Riggs and Murtaugh, and Bing Crosby and Bob Hope, Liefeld seems pretty confident that the road trip angle is what Deadpool 3 will center on....

But after watching last night’s episode, fans are asking if vampires are susceptible to Dengue Fever as well. Last evening’s fourth episode of True Blood was titled Escape from Dragon House after Cambodian rock band Dengue Fever’s 2005 sophomore release, which was released last week on limited edition colored vinyl for the first time ever....

Following the chilling new teaser for Showtime’s upcoming revival of Dexter, an intriguing nugget of information has now emerged, with actor James Remar revealing that he will not return as the serial killer’s late father and guiding subconscious, Harry Morgan. The back and forth between Harry and his murderous son provided the original run with some of the show’s most interesting and dramatic moments, but it sounds like they will not be making a comeback this time around....

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Don Murphy’s Angryfilms is getting together with Bellport Pictures’ Carol Lewis to put together Slide. The film will feature Jimi Hendrix and will be written and directed by R.H. Greene. Slide chronicles Hendrix “lost weekend” in the late 1960s. The story centers around two gangsters who desperately try to get away from a mob boss that they double-crossed. They accidentally kidnap Hendrix, who was then at the height of his career and drug addiction....

Hollywood loves reboots. Recently many shows from the ’80s and ’90s, such as Magnum P.I., MacGyver, and coming this year, The Wonder Years, have all been rebooted and given fresh makeovers. The results have been mixed as such things always are. Disney has gotten into the reboot business. Their newest revival is a fresh take on the classic show Doogie Howser, M.D., which, of course, introduced the world to the wonderful Neil Patrick Harris, who has gone on to have an amazing career....

Lionsgate has picked up rights to Jack Finney’s illustrated novel Time and Again with Doug Liman set to helm and produce. The novel follows Manhattan illustrator Simon Morley, who partakes in a secret government experiment in the mid 20th century. The experiment transports him back to 1882 New York, where he falls in love and struggles with the decision to either go back to his original time or stay in the past with his lover....

Over the years, actress and producer Mary Kate Wiles has been a part of several projects for both film and television. Some of her past projects include The Lydia Bennet!!, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, Kissing in the Rain, and Edgar Allan Poe’s Murder Mystery Dinner Party. Earlier this year, Wiles appeared as the infamous Vicky in the live-action Paramount+ series, Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder. Hughes plays Eric Black in the film, a widowed man who moves to a desolate island in Scotland to work as a shepherd and escape his past. As the story unwinds, more is discovered about Black’s past and the death of his wife. Shepherd is a horror-thriller directed by Owen, and Hughes turns in a remarkable performance....

If you were talking about the most successful film franchises of all-time you would be remised not to mention the Saw series. For five consecutive years the franchise put out a new installment around Halloween and each film made over $50 million in the box office totaling it’s world wide take to almost $700 million. That’s impressive when you consider that the entire series has only cost roughly $36 million to make, which is dramatically less than most studio tent-poles cost....

Family Guy voice actor Mike Henry will no longer be providing the voice of Cleveland. The actor made the announcement on social media this afternoon. Henry is white and Cleveland is an African American character on the long-running animated series. Henry has voiced the fan-favorite character on the show since the beginning, going all the way back to 1999. In addition to Cleveland, he also voices Cleveland Brown, Jr. and Consuela, the Latina maid....
