Just weeks after Netflix fired Fuller House creator Jeff Franklin over allegations of inappropriate behavior, the streaming service has found his replacement. Netflix has promoted current Fuller House executive producers Steve Baldikoski and Bryan Behar as the new showrunners. Both Baldikoski and Behar have served as executive producers on the show since its inception in 2016, with production on the fourth season slated to begin later this year, although an exact production start date and Season 4 premiere date have yet to be revealed....

FX has placed a 13-episode order for the drama series The Strain from Academy Award nominated Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro, author Chuck Hogan and writer/producer Carlton Cuse, which is based on the best-selling vampire novel trilogy of the same title written by del Toro and Hogan, it was announced today by Eric Schrier and Nick Grad, the Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions. The Strain begins production later this month in Toronto and the series is scheduled to premiere in July of 2014 on FX....

With Game of Thrones gearing up to start production on Season 8 next month, the series has set the directors for the final six episodes. A new report has confirmed that series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will both direct the series finale together. While both filmmakers have directed one episode apiece, with Benioff directing a Season 3 episode and Weiss directing a Season 4 episode, this will mark the first time that the creators have directed an episode together....

Resident Alien has become a hit for the Syfy network, and season 2 is now streaming on Peacock. Collider recently spoke with show creator Chris Sheridan about what fans can expect in the new season. In the interview, Sheridan talked about how Syfy wanted to know his long-term plans when he pitched the series, what the budget would look like and how Season 2 is 16 episodes. The Hollywood community is in mourning once again, as a beloved comedian has passed away far too soon. Comedian and actor Ralphie May, who is best known for taking second place in the second season of Last Comic Standing, passed away this morning at the age of 45. The comedian had been regularly performing in Las Vegas in the weeks leading up to his death, although he had recently been battling pneumonia as well....

It has been a long time coming, but it looks like the frequently rumored and fan-demanded sequel to the 2005 DC thriller Constantine is finally going into development with Keanu Reeves returning in the lead role. As reported by Deadline, Reeves will be reunited with original movie director Francis Lawrence, and the sequel will be written by Akiva Goldsman, with J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot producing along with Goldsman’s Weed Road Pictures....

You can bring home Henry Sellick’s new stop-motion masterpiece home on DVD and Blu-ray this July. Coraline will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on July 21. We have no cover art or pricing details as of yet, but it was said that both the 2D and 3D versions of teh film will be on the disc and there will be four pairs of 3D glasses included. Crackle, the multi-platform digital entertainment network, released an exciting line-up of new original programming and returning series this morning at the Digital Content NewFronts in New York City. Bryan Cranston (Malcolm in the Middle, Breaking Bad), Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Entourage), and sportscaster Dan Patrick were all on hand alongside Sony Pictures Television executives for Crackle’s second year at the annual NewFronts presentations. The new line-up features more than 100 episodes of original programming including exciting new productions and returning hits across a variety of genres such as sports, comedy, thrillers, and music involving some of Hollywood’s most sought-after talent including Jerry Seinfeld, Robert Downey Jr....

Dave Bautista is reportedly hanging up his Marvel boots following Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and among his many other upcoming roles the actor has teased fans of a new secret animation project he is providing voice-over work for. Bautista, who most recently appeared in Dune: Part 1, shared an image of himself in full voice-over recording mode for an upcoming project, but he would not give any hints as to what that project is....
