FOX has renewed Fringe, the number 1 new series among Adults 18-49, with a full second season, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company. “Fringe proved to be a notable addition to our schedule all season and it really has fans buzzing as it builds to a fantastic season finale,” said Reilly. “J.J. and the whole Bad Robot team have been phenomenal partners, and we look forward to years of making great television with them....

The director of this new Donnie Darko tale talks about this continuation of the classic Richard Kelly film. Chris Fisher has worked in both TV and film before, directing films such as Dirty and also episodes for TV shows such as Chuck and Cold Case. Now he’s going back into the world director Richard Kelly created in his 2001 cult classic Donnie Darko with the straight-to-DVD sequel, S. The Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals officially has all three major cast members in place, with Claire Holt signing on to reprise her role as the vampire Rebekah. These siblings are the last surviving members of the first vampire clan ever to walk the Earth. Thousands of people crammed into the ballroom at what may be the first ‘must see’ event of Comic-Con - the Lost panel. Daredevil fans rejoiced when it was announced last year that the series would be getting renewed, and new details have been emerging over the past few months. According to Variety, Focus Features and BBC Films have attached David Cronenberg to direct Eastern Promises, a London thriller penned by Steve Knight. The script digs into the same seamy underside of life in the U.K. capital that Knight explored in his previous film, Dirty Pretty Things. One of the funniest and most beloved comedies of recent years is Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Following the release of Elvis, we may see a campaign for #ReleaseTheLuhrmannCut.
