NBC’s Saturday Night Live has announced the show’s holiday season hosts, with Saoirse Ronan, James Franco and Kevin Hart. Saoirse Ronan will host the December 2 episode this weekend, followed by James Franco on December 9 and Kevin Hart on December 16. While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, it seems likely these will be the last three original SNL episodes to air in 2017, before the show goes on its Christmas hiatus....

HBO’s biopic about Temple Grandin is finally moving forward, with Claire Danes attached to star and Mick Jackson attached to direct the film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Grandin is one of the leading speakers on autism, and overcame the limitations imposed by the disorder to become one of the top scientists in humane livestock handling. High school was especially harsh for Grandin, who was called “tape recorder” by other kids because she repeated things over and over....

Clone High is getting a two-season reboot at HBO Max. As part of an overall plan at the WarnerMedia-backed streamer to develop more animated content, three new animated series have just gotten official orders, joining several others that are already in the works. This includes a revival of the short-lived animated series Clone High, and the brass at Warner Bros. TV are so confident in the reboot’s success that they’ve already ordered two seasons....

Add one more actor to the list of those who have been considered for a role in George Miller’s Justice League of America. Chroeographer-turned-actor Columbus Short (Stomp the Yard) told MTV News that he was up for the role of Green Lantern in the film about DC Comic’s premiere superhero team. Shockingly, although he may have been considered for the role, he has apparently already turned it down. “Justice League of America is going to be dope, it’s going to be huge,” Short said, “But it’s not the movie for me....
