We have a brand new trailer for the Charmed Reboot. The CW has released the new trailer online, following the debut of the show’s first episode at San Diego Comic-Con. While the rest of us are going to have to wait a while to see the first episode in its entirety for ourselves, this new trailer gives us a better look at this very different new take on the series. It’s still three sisters who discover that they’re witches, but this isn’t the same old show just being dusted off with a new title sequence for a new generation....

Christina Cabot plays Major Kathleen ‘Kat’ Sparr in this summer’s The Incredible Hulk. The actress recently gave an interview with Moviehole where she discussed her preparation for the film, along with what it was like to work with director Louis Letterier and star Edward Norton. Asked about her preparation for the film, Cabot said: While preparing for the movie I read the comic books, but as a kid was a big fan of The Incredible Hulk tv series....

Sylvester Stallone stars with John Lithgow, and Janine Turner in Director Renny adrenaline-fueled action thriller Cliffhanger, about a botched mid-air heist that results in disparate groups searching for suitcases full of cash throughout the Rocky Mountains. Arnold Schwarzenegger heads an all-star cast including Academy Award winners F. Murray Abraham and Art Carney in Director John McTiernan’s action-adventure-comedy Last Action Hero....

The King’s Speech star Colin Firth has been offered the villain role in Mandate Pictures’ Oldboy remake for director Spike Lee. It isn’t known yet if the actor plans to accept the offer or not. If he takes on the role, Colin Firth will play Adrian, the villain who squares off against Josh Brolin’s lead character. Chan-wook Park directed the original Oldboy, a South Korean thriller which followed a man seeking revenge against those who kept him in confinement for over 15 years....

We reported in early June that a top actor was circling David Fincher’s latest film project and now he has been confirmed for the lead role. Deadline New York is reporting that Daniel Craig has been confirmed to star in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Craig will portray journalist Mikael Blomkvist in the film and it was said that he will start work on the film in Sweden almost immediately after he’s done filming Jon Favreau’s Cowboys and Aliens....

Some people never truly leave you … alone as the first trailer for 20th Century Studios’ teen horror comedy, Darby and the Dead, introduces us to the titular Darby Harper. Granted the ability to see ghosts, Darby decides to start a side business counseling local spirits in her spare time. Of course, when dealing with ghostly spirits and the mysteries of the beyond, not everything always goes to plan. The cast of Boston Strangler, a new movie from 20th Century Studios based on the horrific crimes of the infamous serial killer who terrorized Boston in the 1960s, has just secured another big name. David Dastmalchian has just boarded the cast, joining previously announced cast members Keira Knightley, Carrie Coon, Alessandro Nivola, and Chris Cooper. It’s not clear if Dastmalchian will be playing Albert DeSalvo or someone else, but he’s reportedly been cast in a “pivotal, undisclosed role....

After Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin handles Paul Giamatti and Vince Vaughn in the upcoming Santa Clause holiday comedy, he’ll take on the comic book film, R.I.P.D. CHUD recently spoke with Phil Hay, who’s writing a film adaptation of the comic book. He spilled some beans about David taking directing duties. “It’s kind of about a spectral police force. David Hasselhoff is currently in negotiations to appear in the upcoming remake of NBC’s Knight Rider. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he would be reprising his Michael Knight character. The Young and the Restless’s Deanna Russo has just signed on as the female star of the upcoming pilot. She will be appearing opposite fellow soap star Justin Bruening. Elliot Page recently signed on as the executive producer of the Italian transgender documentary Nel Mio Nome (Into My Name) by director and producer Nicolò Bassetti, which is set to premiere at the 2022 Berlin Film Festival in the Panorama Dokumente section. The doc is based on Bassetti’s personal experience of his child’s transition. It follows the lives of four friends who are transitioning and offers an intimate look at the universal struggle of being trans in a world that can’t see beyond the artifice of sex and gender....

Broken Lizard return to Utah this January for festival season, and they are coming armed with their latest indie comedy The Slammin’ Salmon. The film, directed by Kevin Heffernan, is the fifth and possibly funniest project to come from the comedy team responsible for Super Troopers and Beerfest. And it promises to be one of the highlights of this year’s Slamdance festival. The plot follows Cleon Salmon, an ex-heavy weight boxing champ that initiates a contest in his own restaurant to see which of his waiters can earn the most tip money in a single night....

Timothée Chalamet returns to the big screen with his latest project, Bones and All. The film follows a group of cannibals known as “eaters” as they navigate living on the margins of society.
