Nicholas Celozzi’s new movie The Class was developed with the intention of paying homage to late filmmaker John Hughes and his widely-celebrated 80s classic, The Breakfast Club. Making it clear from the start how much respect he has for the film, Celozzi even managed to cast two of its stars with Anthony Michael Hall appearing in The Class with John Kapelos. The plots of the two movies are also similar, as The Class follows a group of youths spending a Saturday completing an exam they’d missed or failed, only to learn more about themselves and each other by the end of the day....

Gatlopp takes a horrific twist on drinking games with its supernatural and deadly elements. It stars Jim Mahoney, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Jon Bass, Sarunas J. Hackson, Shelley Hennig, John Ales, Amy Davidson, is directed by Alberto Belli, and is written by Mahoney. The official synopsis reads: “A group of old friends reunites for a nostalgic evening of fun and games after a decade apart. After one too many, they decide to play a drinking game, but it’s quickly revealed that this game comes with supernatural stakes....

When news broke in January 2022 of the Fast and Furious franchise’s decision to take on Jason Momoa as a cast member of its newest Fast and Furious 10 movie, fans were sent into a frenzy of excitement. Momoa, most famous for his roles in Aquaman and Dune, is already a well-known name among movie lovers, owing to his incredible versatility and talent as an actor. Charlie Hunnam and Mel Gibson will be sharing the screen in February. The pair’s new film Last Looks, an action comedy movie originally titled Waldo, has just been acquired by RLJE Films for its North American distribution rights. The company is planning a day-and-date release for the film in February after RLJE Films’ Chief Acquisitions Officer Mark Ward negotiated the deal with Romulus Entertainment’s Brad Feinstein. “We’re delighted to release Last Looks next year,” Ward said, per Deadline....

Created by Constance M. Burge, the original series Charmed was the 1998 hit supernatural family drama show that was considered the predecessor of shows like Ghost Whisperer and Supernatural. The show stars Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty, and Alyssa Milano. Charmed, from the original network of The WB, aired on TV from 1998 to 2006, collecting a solid fanbase because of its story. This show follows the three sisters, who after the tragic death of their mother, discover that they are descendants of a line of witches....

A new teaser trailer has been released for Chip ’n Dale: Rescue Rangers, the upcoming feature film that serves as a legacy sequel to the original animated series. Described as a “comeback 30 years in the making,” the hybrid live-action/CG animated action-comedy follows the very same titular chipmunks fans saw starring in the original cartoon series. At the 2006 Comic-Con International we sat in on a roundtable discussion with screenwriter Jane Goldman. NBC has delayed the Season 4 debut of Community and the Season 2 premiere of Whitney to an undetermined date. An unidentified source from NBC revealed that the delay is meant to give both shows an extra marketing push. Both shows were slated to debut Friday, October 19, with Whitney kicking off the night at 8 PM ET and Community following at 8:30 PM ET. The network will air repeats of Grimm in the 8 PM hour for the time being....

The Good I didn’t realize it at the time but I was seeing another mob classic. The Bad Okay, this movie has more footage but the new and old featurettes seem recycled and redundant. Johnny Depp plays the title role of Donnie Brasco in this mob classic. Depp is actually Joe Pistone, an FBI Agent who is commissioned to the infiltrate the mafia. Taking on the name Donnie Brasco es known as a very smart, shrewd jeweler....
