Syfy has set 1980s pop-star rivals Debbie Gibson and Tiffany to star in the network’s Saturday night original movie Mega Python vs. Gatoroid. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gibson will play a fanatical animal-rights activist who frees illegally imported exotic snakes from pet stores, sending them into the Everglades, where they grow to mega sizes. Tiffany will play an overzealous park ranger who uses dangerous methods to save endangered alligators....

Everybody loved watching little Dennis cause havoc and irritate Mr. Wilson in the hit ’90s family-comedy film, Dennis the Menace. The film, directed by Nick Castle, was adapted from a comic series of the same name by Hank Ketcham. The film went up to blow up in the global box office, bringing in more than $117 million. Screen Daily News is reporting that a Donnie Darko sequel entitled S. Darko is going into production on May 18th without Richard Kelly’s involvement.
