Jarod Nandin has passed away. He was 40-years old. Nandin is best-known as the “South Park Guy” after re-creating the show’s infamous World of Warcraft character from the season 10 episode titled, Make Love, Not Warcraft. Nandin died in the hospital of COVID-19 on Sunday, January 3rd. He had previously updated friends and family on social media, noting that he had tested positive and that he was in the hospital getting treatment....

Netflix is officially getting in on the aftershow game, and they’re probably doing it at the perfect time. To coincide with the release of Stranger Things season 2, the streaming service has announced that the beloved sci-fi series is getting a recap series, officially titled Beyond Stranger Things. The first season will run for seven episodes and, just like every other Netflix show, every episode will be made available On October 27, the same day that Stranger Things season 2 drops....

Following a report last week from a Canadian publication that The Strain has been renewed by FX, the network has confirmed the news today, while announcing that The Strain: The Complete First Season will be released on Blu-ray and DVD December 2. Three people who formed a life-long bond in a concentration camp are re-united for the first time forty years later in the bucolic setting of a renovated farm....

HBO’s Game of Thrones comes to a thundering season seven conclusion with “The Dragon and the Wolf”. Tonight was like drinking water through a firehose. Many of the questions at the heart of the show were finally answered. We confirm the true parentage of Jon Snow (Kit Harington), the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne. The Stark family unites and rids the game of the most treacherous player. The white walker threat is proven to the Lannisters, but Cersei (Lena Headey) is as duplicitous as her father....

Even with the final episodes of Game of Thrones coming in 2019, there are still several unsolved mysteries swirling around the show, and now one of them has been solved. Way back in Season 1, the show pulled off the first of what would be many shocking twists, by killing off Ned Stark (Sean Bean), believed to be one of the show’s lead characters, in the penultimate ninth episode of the season, with new king Joffrey sentencing him to death by beheading....

The co-writer of the original Wanted, Chris Morgan, is going to return to pen the sequel. Morgan told MTV that he was hard at work on the script for Wanted 2. Morgan confirmed that Mark Millar, who wrote the graphic novel behind the first film, will still be involved with the follow-up, although he isn’t planning a second graphic novel at this time. “As far as I know, the studio is finishing their deal with Mark [Millar], and then we’re all going to get together and collaborate,” said Morgan, a longtime comics fan....

Christian Bale and director David O. Russell are set to join Mark Wahlberg in The Fighter. According to Variety, Relativity Media will fully finance the film, while Paramount Pictures, which initiated the project, will now be limited to distributing domestically. The film tells the story of Boston fighter “Irish” Mickey Ward and how he was helped to the world lightweight championship by half-brother Dicky Eklund. Eklund once decked Sugar Ray Leonard and went the distance against the boxing legend before forfeiting his career to drugs and crime....

I recently had the privilege to visit the set of The To-Do List, and one of the actors we were able to speak with is Clark Gregg. The actor is quite busy lately, since he just flew back to L.A. from the Albuquerque set of The Avengers, where he plays S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Agent Coulson. He couldn’t say much about the project, although he sung the praises of director Joss Whedon. He also talked about life on the set, and how strange it is to be surrounded by all of these superheroes every day....

Cobie Smulders may not be one of the names that come instantly to mind when asked to name important people in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the actress has appeared in several key movies of the interconnected saga as former S.H.I.E.L.D agent Maria Hill. Now, it looks like she will be reprising the role once again alongside Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury in Marvel’s Secret Invasion. According to Deadline, the actress will once again be protecting the Earth from whatever threats come its way in the Disney+ series which is currently filming for an expected late 2022 release....

Just eight days after Scandal’s Season 3 finale, actor Columbus Short confirmed today that he is not returning to the series.
