San Diego Comic-Con 2018 was the year of TV trailers. It’s amazing to see how big the world of television has become over the last handful of years with Netflix, HBO, Showtime, and the usual networks adding brand-new content. There were some shows that were expected and then some brand-new surprises that nobody saw coming. With that being said, we have compiled every single one of the must-see TV trailers from Comic-Con below, so you don’t have to go searching for them....

Frank hits paydirt again with his incredibly dark and sinister adaptation of Stephen King’s The Mist, a film that is sure to arouse controversy amongst Christian conservatives. The plot centers around a group of people stuck in a supermarket during an attack by a supernatural mist....

Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo’s life after death horror thriller After.Life, which stars Liam Neeson, Christina Ricci, and Justin Long makes its debut on DVD and Blu-ray August 3rd. Fox is developing Them, an hourlong alien-themed project in the works from director Jonathan Mostow (Terminator 3) and screnwriters David Eick (Battlestar Galactica) and John McNamara (Profit), according to Variety. Circle of Confusion’s David Engel and David Alpert also are executive producing via CBS Paramount Network Television. The project is based on the graphic novel Six, written by Michael Oeming and Daniel Berman. Eick and McNamara are writing the script for the TV take, executive producing with Mostow....

Anchor Bay Entertainment and Strongheart Pictures today announced that they have entered into an agreement for the theatrical and home entertainment distribution of Fred Durst’s directorial debut film, The Education of Charlie Banks. The film premiered to much acclaim at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival, winning the prestigious “Made In New York Award.” “Anchor Bay is thrilled to add The Education of Charlie Banks to our ever-growing slate of independent theatrical releases,” commented Bill Clark, President of Anchor Bay Entertainment....

As one of the most watched TV shows of all time (and one destined to be repeated over and over again until the end of time), it’s hard to distinguish the actual characters of Friends - Joey, Chandler, Monica, Rachael, Phoebe and Ross - from the actual working actors portraying them. Full House was a comedy series created by Jeff Franklin. The American Music Awards announced that Mary J. Blige, Jonas Brothers, Lenny Kravitz, Queen Latifah, Rascal Flatts and Sugarland have all been added to the impressive line-up of performers at the 2007 American Music Awards airing live Sunday, November 18 (8:00-11:00 pm ET/PT) on ABC. The upcoming Mad Max prequel, Furiosa, has been met with some issues behind-the-scenes as production has been shut down after director George Miller tests positive for COVID-19. Filming on Furiosa has been taking place in Australia, but a report from the Daily Mail has revealed that things have now been suspended. The legendary filmmaker George Miller, who is behind the entirety of the Mad Max franchise, including 2015’s Academy Award-nominated Mad Max: Fury Road, reportedly tested positive for the virus earlier this week and will now be required to isolate at home....

Gale Anne Hurd, executive producer of AMC’s hit zombie series The Walking Dead, is setting up a new hour long sci-fi drama based on Annie Jacobsen’s book Area 51: An Uncensored History of America’s Top Secret Military Base. Karl Gajdusek, who wrote the Nicolas Cage thriller Trespass and a number of Dead Like Me episodes, is penning the pilot, which will be shopped to various networks in the coming weeks....

Playing notorious cult leader Charles Manson was not in the cards for Charlie Day. In Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Manson appears with Damon Herriman in the role. Originally, Day was the producers’ first choice to play Manson, but the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star ended up passing on it. While this would have been an opportunity to land a prominent role in a Tarantino film, Day did not even bother to interview for the part as he’d apparently realized pretty that playing Manson wasn’t for him....
