Chucky will be back on SYFY and USA on October 5, 2022 for another season of mayhem and murder, according to a newly released trailer and poster. Chucky was a huge hit last year and saw the return of everyone’s favorite killer doll and plenty of old stars of the Child’s Play movie franchise including Jennifer Tilly, Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent and of course Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky himself....
Good and bad news out of Comic-Con 2012 this evening. Joss Whedon has revealed that his cult favorite webseries Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is coming to The CW next year. What’s the bad news? Well, he may just be airing the old webseries on broadcast TV instead of producing new episodes. Star Neil Patrick Harris is committed to his CBS series How I Met Your Mother, so its unclear if he will be involved should new episodes be produced....

The iconic actor returns to the big screen in this year’s most electrifying sequel Chev Chelios, the unstoppable man with the indestructible heart, is returning to theater screens on April 17th in the highly anticipated sequel Crank: High Voltage. Along for the ride is legendary teen actor Corey Haim, who is making his first big screen appearance since 1991’s Fast Getaway. I know that when this show first started it seemed to be a bit tame, almost like an After School Special in some ways. Toy Story 3 will be screened for ShoWest attendees on Tuesday, March 16, while Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be screened on Thursday, March 18....
Disney Channel has ordered 21 episodes of the animated high school comedy Fish Hooks, which represents its first animated series in three years. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series will mix 2D digital animation and photo collage. Fish Hooks revolves around party guy Milo (voiced by Kyle Massey); his neurotic brother, Oscar (Justin Roiland); and an overly dramatic goldfish, Bea (Chelsea Staub). They attend Freshwater High, a school submerged in a giant fish tank in the center of a local pet store....

Former punk singer turned director discusses bringing his very personal story to life I had the pleasure of watching Dito Montiel’s A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints before it came out theatrically. After telling everyone I could think of to see the movie I then wrote my review. Weeks later, I still couldn’t get what Montiel had put on screen out of my head. It was amazing to think that this was his first foray into filmmaking, but since he wrote the book version of A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, it should surprise nobody just how sure his directing hand is....

Actress, model, and LGBTQ rights activist Hunter Schafer is joining the cast of the upcoming Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, The Hollywood Reporter reports. The casting announcement came Wednesday in an Instagram post from the prequel film’s official account. The Euphoria actress will star as Tigris Snow, the cousin and confidante of future Panem President Coriolanus Snow (Billy the Kid’s Tom Blyth). Schafer and Blyth will star alongside the previously announced West Side Story actors Rachel Zegler as District 12 tribute Lucy Gray Baird and Josh Andrés Rivera as Coriolanus’ best friend Sejanus Plinth....
