The audience members in Room 8 at the San Diego Convention Center were treated to a huge surprise guest at the comic book publisher, Devil’s Due and they’re property Hack/Slash’s feature film adaptation. After the first half hour of the panel, which featured the comic book creator Tim Seeley along with the film’s director Todd Lincoln, screenwriter Justin Marks, had another addition… a huge one. There was a brief announcement that Devil’s Due Publishing had gained a partner in Trigger Street Productions and, I knew right away who that special guest was: Kevin Spacey....

Just in time for Comic-Con, the investigators on National Geographic Channel’s (NGC) Chasing UFOs are taking it to the streets, putting their alien explorations on hold to probe a mysterious outbreak of the undead at the 6th Annual Zombie Walk: San Diego on Friday, July 13, at 5:30 p.m. Erin Ryder, tech supervisor and lead researcher; Ben McGee, geologist, radiation scientist and field explorer; and James Fox, “UFOlogist,” will all be on hand at the iconic global event to mingle with fans and pass out free swag, Frisbees and ice cream from Chasing UFOs-branded pushcarts....

Much to the surprise of everyone sitting in Hall H, the first trailer for Walt Disney Picture’s upcoming Western reboot The Lone Ranger debuted today, offering a look at this once-troubled production starring Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as The Lone Ranger. The first half of this trailer, which runs a little over one and a half minutes, is given way to scenes of an old Western railroad being built....

The Felddog gives us the low down on vamps, bats, stakes, The Two Coreys, and a possible Lost Boys III Corey Feldman returns this July in the highly anticipated sequel The Lost Boys: The Tribe, a film that has been twenty-one years in the making. Feldman is reprising his role as Edgar Frog, one half of the notorious Frog Brothers, a pair of vampire hunting siblings that are currently using their surfboard shaping company as a cover for their illicit mercenary-for-hire operation....

Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) might have been back in Terrifier 2 for more murder and mayhem, but that doesn’t mean he was going in alone. Art was joined by a mysterious and otherworldly ally, the Little Pale Girl (Amelie McLain). Talking with Bloody Disgusting, writer/director Damien Leone said that he has been dying to speak about the character because she was just so excited. However, the year before they went into actual principal photography, it was Halloween and the director was getting tagged in all of these pictures of people, both men and women, getting dressed up as Art....

Daredevil showrunner Steven DeKnight has responded to the news that the Marvel vigilante will receive a Disney+ series without his involvement, calling the announcement “bittersweet.” Steven DeKnight, who acted as showrunner, director, writer, and producer throughout the first season of Daredevil on Netflix, took to social media to address the news that the character will be back courtesy of Disney+, saying that all he wants is a “great Daredevil show.” Something which we can surely all agree on....

David Harbour will reprise the role of Jim Hopper for the upcoming fifth and final season of Stranger Things, and the actor has now offered an update on the series’ final outing. Hopper had quite the adventure in the fourth season, battling monsters from the Upside Down with swords, escaping a Russian prison, and finally kissing Winona Ryder’s character, Joyce. So what does Stranger Things Season 5 have in store for our intrepid hero?...

Last weekend at San Diego Comic-Con during Collider’s “Directors on Directors” panel, hosted in Hall H and featuring some well-known Hollywood directors. Present at the panel was Academy Award-winner Andrew Stanton, who directed Pixar films such as WALL-E and Finding Nemo, in addition to episodes of Stranger Things and For All Mankind; stuntman turned director Chad Stahelski, who directed all four of the John Wick films; and Academy Award-nominee Tim Miller, who directed Deadpool and Terminator: Dark Fate....

The film concerns a group of clam digging buddies who don’t want, or are unable to come to terms with the changes happening around them. The film centers around Hunt (Paul Rudd), a guy who likes to take random pictures of things and doesn’t really seem to question where his life is headed....

During the D23 “Studio Showcase, Day 1: Celebrate the Magic of Disney and Pixar” panel on Friday, September 9th, 2022, the trailer for Disenchantedt, a sequel to the 2007 live-action and animated movie Enchanted, was released. The upcoming sequel will be released for streaming on Disney+ just in time for Thanksgiving, on November 24th, 2022. The straight to Disney+ movie will see the return of Amy Adams as Giselle, James Marsden as Prince Edward, Patrick Dempsey as Robert Philip, and Idina Menzel as Nancy Tremaine....

It is for certain that we’re not the only ones thinking about the countless possibilities with regards to MCU heroes and Disney princesses. After all, the resemblance between some characteristics and personalities of each of the characters is sometimes uncanny. Dune already won the Academy Award for Best Cinematography earlier this year. So Greig Fraser will have a big mountain to climb if he wants to surpass his film in Dune: Part Two. Dune’s cinematography played on many old sci-fi aesthetics and successfully created an atmosphere of grandeur and awe without becoming too involved with its CGI. The wide shots and the numerous extras gave the viewer that feeling we’re meant to have in space; that we’re so incredibly small amongst the unfathomably vast universe....
