Multi-faceted comedian and actor Eddie Izzard and multiple award-winning actress Frances Conroy will guest star on the Showtime series United States of Tara. Izzard will appear in eight episodes and Conroy in one episode of the third season opposite Toni Collette, last year’s Emmy Award winner and this year’s Emmy nominee for her role as Tara Gregson, a wife and mother who struggles with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Izzard will play Tara’s brilliant psychology professor who is at first a DID skeptic, but becomes fascinated with Tara as a subject, leading him to further explore the condition....

With both Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood on board with the idea, the potential film featuring the two actors playing each other needs to happen soon. Previously, Radcliffe named Wood as the obvious choice of an actor that could play him if he was ever given a biopic. He imagines a movie where the two “would trade off,” given how often some fans confuse Radcliffe and Wood. Recently, TMZ caught up with Wood and asked him about Radcliffe’s comments....

Lofty Sky Pictures is gearing up for the U.S. theatrical release of the animated documentary Eternal Spring, and ahead of the premiere, we can first debut an exclusive clip. Having debuted in Canadian theaters last month, Eternal Spring has since begun its week-long exclusive showings in New York’s Film Forum starting on Oct. 14, though it will be expanding nationwide to more than 50 markets on Oct. 21, 2022. Paramount Pictures’ Failure to Launch failed to live up to its name at the boxoffice this weekend, which was a good thing for the film and the distributor. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the romantic comedy achieved liftoff in the top spot with an unexpectedly robust estimate of $24.6 million, followed by Buena Vista Pictures’ The Shaggy Dog in second with an estimated $16 million and Fox Searchlight’s The Hills Have Eyes in third with an estimated $15....

Fairyland is an upcoming film from first-time director Andrew Durham, based on the memoir of the same name by Alysia Abbott. While the memoir was published in 2013 and the story within it dates back to the ’70s, the film is only now being made — and it feels quite timely as more LGBTQ+ films are breaking new frontiers recently. Fairyland is set to be a coming-of-age tale about a girl and her gay father in San Francisco during the height of the AIDS epidemic in the 1970s and ’80s....

With the April 19 premiere date getting closer and closer, FX has released a brief new trailer for Fargo Season 3, which offers our first look at Ewan McGregor as Ray Stussy, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as his girlfriend Nikki Swango. While we don’t get a ton of footage within this 30-second video, we see Ray and Nikki eating at a diner, when a local police officer enters, which seems to put Ray on edge....

Doctor Who star Jodie Whittaker says she was “so sad” while filming the upcoming holiday special Revolution of the Daleks. It was previously announced that the special will mark the end of the road for Whittaker’s co-stars, Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole. The Doctor Who actress revealed her feelings in a new interview, though she would not go into specifics about how Walsh and Cole exit the long-running series. She had this to say....

Westerns have maintained their place of pride on the coveted Hollywood mantelpiece for a little over a century.
