Last season’s No. 1 new series, The Following, returns for its thrilling 14-week second season with a special two-night season premiere event, beginning Sunday, Jan. 19 (10:00-11:00 PM ET/7:00-8:00 PM PT), following the NFC Championship Game (live, 6:00-10:00 PM ET). The LA Times has announced that 20th Century Fox and all of its subsidiaries have dropped out of Comic Con 2007. This is coming just seven days before the festivities are to start. The studio had a number of films lined up for their annual presentation. They included Jumper directed by Doug Liman and starring Hayden Christensen and Samuel L. Jackson, Aliens vs. Predator, Vin Diesel’s Babylon A.D., and Hitman starring Timothy Olyphant....
Another Game of Thrones prequel series is in the works at HBO, this one based on author George R. R. Martin’s Tales of Dunk and Egg fantasy novella series. Variety reports that the one-hour series would follow the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and a young Aegon V Targaryen (Egg) 90 years prior to the events of A Song of Ice and Fire, which was what the original TV series was based on....
