The brilliant character interplay and biting dialogue of the original are lost in translation. Comedy greats Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell look wooden in their performances. They elicit a few chuckles, but fail to captivate overall. Their lack of chemistry turns Downhill into a slow, dry narrative....

Daenerys Targaryen, aka the Mother of Dragons, actress Emilia Clarke took to social media to say goodbye to Game of Thrones. It appears that Clarke is finished filming the 8th and final Season of the massively popular HBO series. Clarke was spotted at the London show of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s OTR II Tour on Friday and then headed back to Ireland to say goodbye to the cast and crew of Game of Thrones....

Full House creator Jeff Franklin brought together several cast members of the classic sitcom to celebrate National Dog Week with an amusing music video. Calling themselves The Full Dog-House, the group includes Bob Saget, John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber. Together, they perform Franklin’s original song “Gotta Love a Golden,” paying tribute in particular to golden retrievers – the breed featured on both Full House and its sequel series Fuller House....

FX has picked up its hit drama The Americans for a 13-episode Season 3, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions. One of television’s most critically-acclaimed series, The Americans has fast become a signature show for FX. Six episodes remain in the current season, including tonight’s broadcast. The series airs Wednesdays at 10:00 PM E/P. FX Productions (FXP) has closed a first-look TV deal with Sacha Baron Cohen’s production company, Four By Two, and FXX has ordered Ali G: Rezurection to begin airing in early 2014. Ali G: Rezurection includes every episode of Da Ali G Show with new, original introductions starring Baron Cohen, along with the BAFTA Award winning English episodes of Da Ali G Show that never aired on American television and The Best of Ali G....

We now have our first look at Academy Award winner Christian Bale in the upcoming Netflix gothic crime thriller, The Pale Blue Eye. Universal Pictures must have wizened up and realized that the original 1985 Clue board game adaptation was a substantial flop, and that here, some twenty odd years later, people still aren’t clamoring for a big screen version of this elementary school mystery. The Studio has officially dropped Clue 2012 (Is it a remake? Is it a reboot? Is it it’s own thing? Who knows?) from their roster. Universal had originally planned to turn seven Hasbro board game properties into movies within a six year span of time, but this is the third proposed project in the bunch to fall to the wayside after Universal also kicked Monopoly and Magic, The Gathering to the curb....

The pilot of the TV adaptation of Outcast is going into production at Cinemax. Robert Kirkman developed Outcast with Fox International Channels (FIC) at the same time he was developing the comic book series of the same name for his Skybound imprint at Image Comics. The first issue of the comic book, which was released in June of this year, has not only exceeded The Walking Dead comic book sales at their peak, but has also been met with overwhelming enthusiasm from fans and critics alike....

It’s been two years since Sarah Michelle Gellar spooked us all out in The Grudge, the remake of the popular Japanese Ju-On film. Now, it’s a new breed of characters ready to scare the heck out of people in the sequel, The Grudge 2.
