Following his debut in Daredevil season 2 last year, Marvel and Netflix decided to give The Punisher his very own series, which is set to hit the streaming service later this year. The reception to Jon Bernthal’s turn as Frank Castle was incredibly positive, some felt it may have even been Emmy-worthy, so it only seemed logical to give the man his own show. The Punisher is currently in production and now some new set photos have emerged....

The rain is starting to pour at Netflix, as the streaming giant has confirmed Friends will be leaving the service at the end of the year. In a tweet posted to the official Twitter account for Netflix, the company announced it was time to say goodbye to the beloved comedy series. “We’re sorry to see Friends go to Warner’s streaming service at the beginning of 2020 (in The US),” the tweet says....

Just like many other pop stars turned actors, the appearance of the star was immediately met with memes and ridicule online, but with a solid set of movie appearances under his belt, the former One Direction singer is carving himself an envious route into a big acting career, with director Chloe Zhao even saying that there was no-one else she wanted for the role of Starfox in the film....

Thor: Love and Thunder will feature the MCU introduction of Gorr the God Butcher, played by Academy Award-winning actor Christian Bale. While Bale is familiar with the superhero genre due to his iconic portrayal of Bruce Wayne, Love and Thunder marks his first foray into the world of Marvel. As such, it seems like Bale didn’t get the memo about keeping Marvel secrets close to the vest. Director Matt Reeves has confirmed that a sequel to his first big-screen hit, Cloverfield, is now in development. Speaking with Comicbook.com, Reeves reveals that he could one day be tempted back to the franchise, and while he does not know what the studio has in store for Cloverfield, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, he is excited to see what’s next for the movie monster. As for whether Reeves would ever consider helming another installment in the Cloverfield franchise, the filmmaker is open to the idea, utilizing that well-known philosophy “never say never....

Comedy Central has given series orders to Another Period and Idiotsitter and renewed Inside Amy Schumer, Review and TripTank, it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Content Development and Original Programming, Comedy Central. In addition, Comedy Central has ordered five original digital series to be produced by CC:Studios and distributed across multiple platforms including CC.com and the recently released Comedy Central App. The digital series are 300 Sunnyside, New Timers, Pie Guys, Roustabout with Kurt Braunohler and Team Tiger Awesome and they will premiere on various dates throughout 2014....

USA Network today announces the January premiere dates for the new original series Common Law on Thursday, January 26 at 10/9c and returning original favorites White Collar on Tuesday, January 17 at 10/9c and Royal Pains on Wednesday, January 18 at 10/9c. The new original series Common Law kicks into high gear when two cops discover they have one problem - each other. Despite their differences, they are still the best detectives on the force but when things come to a head on the eve of their “seven-year itch,” their captain forces them into couples’ therapy to save their “marriage....

Courtney Solomon and Allan Zeman of After Dark Films have launched a sister company called Autonomous Films. According to The Hollywood Reporter, they have a two-year, fifty-five million dollar JPMorgan P&A credit facility. They plan to acquire three to four mainstream films a year, most of them in the $5 million to $20 million range. They also plan to put three films into production during the first half of 2008. Two of the films being produced are broad comedies....

Director D.J. Caruso discuses his upcoming film based on the popular sci-fi novel Director D.J. We reported in November that Columbia had hired writers Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer to write a new video game adaptation and now it seems a director for the project may have been found. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that director David O. Russell could be in line to direct Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. The site revealed that negotiations between Columbia and Russell have not yet begun and they are only in the “meeting stage” at this point....

While we’ll never know for sure what exactly led to Stephen “tWitch” Boss losing his life earlier this month, his friend Ellen DeGeneres hopes fans will help honor him this holiday season to keep his memory shining brightly. On Dec. 14, it was reported that tWitch had been found dead of a gunshot wound that investigators say was self-inflicted. The news came as a tremendous shock to friends of the 40-year-old dancer and DJ, and like the fans, DeGeneres is still trying to understand it....

It is pretty amazing the power, double meanings, and ultimate ferocity that the word F*ck has. This is the subject of this film by Steve Anderson which talks to people like Pat Boone, porn star Tera Patrick, the late Hunter S. Thompson, Bill Maher, Ron Jeremy, etc....
