Charmed originally took to television from 1998 to 2006 before being rebooted in 2018 on the CW Network. While the CW has once again used its platform to showcase a talented cast, the original show lasted eight years and exceptionally endeared the characters to audiences. With such a storied history and notable characters entering and exiting the show at various points, there were plenty of opportunities for these characters to impact audiences with their character growth....

After images of new CinemaCon posters for The Expendables 4 and John Wick 4 started appearing online, a five-piece set of new DCEU offerings has also arrived. The single panel posters have given a new look at the logos and current release dates for the upcoming DCEU slate along with the animated DC’s League of Super-Pets, and it stands as a pretty good reminder of just how many big movies DC is releasing in the 12 months or so....

Legendary filmmaker Clint Eastwood has set up his next project, a biopic on a controversial American figure. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Eastwood will direct a new biopic on former FBI head J. Edgar Hoover. Milk screenwriter Dustin Lance Black has been set to write the film and Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer will produce the film, which they had initially set up at Universal. The project isn’t set up at a studio now, but it will likely end up at Warner Bros....

Clint Eastwood is hoping to cast Joaquin Phoenix in his upcoming biopic Hoover, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio in the title role. This news comes from New York Magazine’s Vulture, which reports that Joaquin Phoenix would be playing J. Edgar Hoover’s secret gay lover and protégé Clyde Tolson. Joaquin Phoenix is said to be Clint Eastwood’s top choice for the role. Clyde Tolson was the associate director of the FBI from 1947 to 1972, and was always in close proximity to Hoover....

ABC released four trailers for Season 3 of Once Upon a Time at the show’s Comic-Con 2013 panel earlier today, one of which reveals that The Little Mermaid will be a part of this season. We also see that Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) is setting sail for Neverland, where the characters Peter Pan and Tinkerbell will be introduced. Take a look at the latest footage from this ABC series, which we reported earlier this week will kick off with the “The Heart is the Truest Believer” on Sunday, September 29....

A home entertainment debut as fierce as the warrior himself, Lionsgate brings Conan the Barbarian to 3D/2D Blu-ray Disc, 2D Blu-ray Disc, DVD, Digital Download and On Demand this November. Constantine star Peter Stormare has some intriguing ideas surrounding his role in the now confirmed sequel, with the actor hoping to play both Satan and God in Constantine 2. Discussing the sequel with ScreenRant, Stormare expressed some concerns over making Constantine 2 all these years later, but hopes that it will happen, and that he gets to play both God and the Devil opposite Keanu Reeves as the titular paranormal detective....

Ryan Murphy promises that the Coven witches will return to American Horror Story. Last season’s Apocalypse featured the return of Sarah Paulson as Cordelia Goode, Stevie Nicks as herself, Lily Rabe as Misty Day, Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery, Taissa Farmiga as Zoe Benson, Gabourey Sidibe as Queenie, and Frances Conroy as Myrtle Snow, along with some new additions. Though it was originally thought that the witches would only play a small part, they ended up in most of the episodes....

Craig Ferguson announced today that he has decided to step down as host of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in December 2014. Ferguson broke the news this afternoon to his studio audience during the taping of the show, which will be broadcast at 12:37-1:37 AM, ET/PT. Dreamworks Animation has given us an update on their higher-profile films through 2009, including the Shrek spin-off, Puss ’n Boots, starring Antonio Banderas. The company provided updates on several future projects, including DreamWorks Animation’s Puss in Boots, based on the beloved character from the Shrek franchise. Originally expected to be released as a direct-to-video title, the property is now being slated as a future theatrical release. Due to current market conditions, the Company has decided to shift away from its direct-to-video strategy in favor of new opportunities with Paramount and Nickelodeon....

Daniel Craig’s name is synonymous with James Bond and the 007 franchise. He took the role in 2006 with Casino Royale, a film helmed by Martin Campbell that completely reinvented the long-running movies, giving them a new life. Craig took Bond in a new direction, one with a no-nonsense approach, which also benefited the villains featured in the franchise. The 54-year-old actor recently appeared in his final installment in the Bond films with No Time to Die in 2021....

A new trailer for the upcoming action-horror feature Devil’s Triangle recently dropped and it looks to put a new spin on the mystery of Bermuda’s infamous stretch of ocean. The titular triangle is best known for being linked to several real-world disappearances, with planes and ships rumored to have shown up abandoned or vanished altogether off the coast of the Caribbean island. The mystery deepens with some vessels reportedly still containing all the personal belongings of the people involved and evidence that they suddenly scarpered without warning....

Showtime has ordered two more seasons of its award-winning, top-rated drama series Dexter, starring Golden Globe award-winning actor Michael C. Hall, it was announced today by David Nevins, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc. On the heels of Hall and Showtime closing a new, two season deal for Hall to return to the series, production will begin on season seven in 2012 in Los Angeles. Seasons seven and eight will consist of 12 episodes each....

A Deadpool cameo almost happened in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Now playing in theaters, the anticipated Marvel release revealed many surprises for fans, ultimately living up to its promising title. While most fans seem to be satisfied with the cameos, there remains one rumored appearance that many fans were hoping for that didn’t come to fruition. Of course, that would be Deadpool, who is not in the new Marvel film....

The first teaser for Doctor Who season 11 is coming our way this weekend. In a story from The Hollywood Reporter Producers Don Murphy (Transformers) and John Wells recently optioned The Flock from writer James Robert Smith. The book focuses on a flock of highly intelligent prehistoric birds who are found in the Florida Everglades. The birds goal is to protect their home and find themselves on the defensive when they go up against theme park developers. Murphy originally came across The Flock when Smith was posting nasty comments about Transformers on the blog of From Hell artist Eddie Moore....

In 1983, animation director Ralph Bakshi and fantasy artist Frank Frazetta released their collaboration film to the world, Fire and Ice. When asked how often his co-star Jason Gann causes him to botch a take by making him laugh, Elijah Wood revealed it has happened more times this season than in previous years....

It’s a sad day on everyone’s favorite street. Emilio Delgado, best known as Luis on Sesame Street, has passed away at 81. This news comes to us from TMZ. Delgado passed away on Thursday surrounded by his family in his home in New York City. TMZ also reports that Delgado had been in hospice care. The beloved actor was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (a type of blood cancer that affects plasma cells) in December 2020....
