That ’70s Show packs up the polyester bellbottoms, Zeppelin 8-tracks and lava lamps when it ends its eight-season run Thursday, May 18 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The series finale also marks the 200th episode milestone. That ’70s Show premiered on Aug. 23, 1998. Set in Point Place, Wisconsin, the series follows a group of friends who get by with a little help from each other. The show stars Mila Kunis, Danny Masterson, Laura Prepon, Wilmer Valderrama, Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, Josh Meyers, Don Stark and Tommy Chong....

It’s a good time to be a Fright Night fan. Not only has original writer/director Tom Holland recently come out with a novelization expanding upon the events of the first movie, but a documentary on the franchise’s first two movie installments has been released, titled You’re So Cool, Brewster! The Making of Fright Night. The docuseries is produced by Holland, who also directed Child’s Play and wrote Psycho II (1983), and has been split into two parts....

In news that is sure to sadden Gambit fans even more than they are already are, prospective director Reid Carolin has described their idea for the movie as resembling the tone of Deadpool. In a discussion with Variety, Carolin confirmed that the Gambit movie would have followed the Deadpool trend of being R-rated, as well as centering the comic book movie on a rom-com style relationship. The proposed Gambit movie is one of the most highly publicized projects to never receive the green light....

The D23 Expo, the showcase event led by the Official Disney Fan Club, unveiled what the biggest presentations will be, via Collider. Marvel and Lucasfilm will announce details regarding their upcoming projects. The D23 event will take place from September 9, 2022 to September 11, 2022 at the Anaheim Convention Center. At the location, Disney100 will begin, which celebrates 100 years of the Walt Disney Company’s existence. Since the company was founded, many movies, tv shows, theme parks, and cruise ships have been created, bringing joy to millions around the world....

Our first look at Daniela Melchior in Fast X has been revealed. Making her debut in the Fast and Furious franchise in the penultimate film, Melchior’s role has not yet been revealed. In a short video clip posted to Twitter, Melchior grips the wheel of an unspecified vehicle she’ll be taking for a spin in the movie. She also teases that the sequel will be “EPIC.” “Can’t show you what color and model is my car, can’t show you where we are, can’t show you who am I with… but I can tell you that Fast X gonna be EPIC,” Melchior said....

Just ahead of the premiere of Halloween Ends, director David Gordon Green is looking back at the negative reception of the previous installment of his Halloween movie trilogy. Teaming up with Blumhouse, Green first brought the slasher movie series back to life with the 2018 reboot. He followed this up with last year’s sequel, Halloween Kills, with plans to cap off the story he wanted to tell with the release of Halloween Ends this month....

Maybe by accident, CBS president Leslie Moonves has confirmed that Season 8 of Dexter will be it’s last. Fans of the hit Showtime series will get to enjoy the new season much earlier than usual, with a Season 8 debut set for Sunday, June 30 as a lead-in to the new series Ray Donovan. Leslie Moonves let it slip during a conference call to investors that this upcoming run of episodes would serve as a swan song for serial killer Dexter....

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is well known to have had a number of alternative and deleted scenes, but star Xochitl Gomez has revealed how extensive reshoots completely changed one important aspect of the movie’s opening. The movie is currently the second highest-grossing movie of the year and looks like it will retain its title as the highest-grossing Marvel of 2022, with Thor lagging a little at the box office....

Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter today that Peter Capaldi will return for Season 9 of the hit series. However, the writer-producer later added that the Jenna Coleman, who plays the Time Lord’s companion Clara, is not confirmed, fueling rampant speculation that the actress will not return after next month’s Christmas Special. “Yes, he’s confirmed.” Steven Moffat was joined by Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman, Michelle Gomez and Samuel Anderson at a London event for the impending Season 8 DVD launch....

When Dwayne Johnson isn’t playing a movie tough guy, then he’s having a bit of fun on social media with puppets. The Rock brought his A-game to an old dispute between Sesame Street characters Elmo, Zoe and her pet rock Rocco, and it looks like someone is about to tell him how to get to Sesame Street for a furry SmackDown. In his post, Johnson replied to a Tweet on Elmo’s account that referenced a 2004 episode of the long-running children’s show in which Elmo became infuriated that he couldn’t eat a cookie because Zoe wanted to feed it to her pet rock....

Actor Elias Koteas has signed on to star in Season 3 of AMC’s revived series The Killing. He will play Ed Skinner, the ex-parnter of Mireille Enos’ Sarah Linden. Here’s a description of the character from our report from earlier this month that broke down all the new roles this season. Joel Kinnaman is also returning as Detective Stephen Holder, although many other cast members from the first two seasons, such as Bill Campbell and Michelle Forbes, are not returning....

Ghostbusters: Afterlife has defied critics’ expectations to be a huge hit since its release last week, delivering a Ghostbusters movie that fans of the franchise have waited over 30 years for.
