The Family Guy tribute special celebrates the side-splitting irreverent humor of this fan-favorite animated series by taking a look back at some of the funniest moments, satirical spoofs and music numbers of the past 100 episodes....

The new Watchmen trailer gives us our best look yet at the upcoming series. HBO has released a full-length trailer for the highly anticipated project and it looks like it might be one of the shows to look out for this fall. Regina King’s Detective Angela Abar is seen taking in a member of the Rorschach mask-wearing group the Seventh Cavalry and bringing him in for interrogation. There’s a lot more going on, which is teased, but there is still a mystery to be solved....

Christian group, Return to Order, launched a petition for Netflix to cancel Good Omens over the “blasphemous” material. One fan alerted Neil Gaiman, who co-wrote the source material and every episode of the miniseries, and the author said, “This is so beautiful… Promise me you won’t tell them?” Gaiman co-wrote the 1990 book with Terry Pratchett and they had planned on bringing it to the screen for a number of years before it ended up happening....

Although I’ve never been a huge fan of Kevin Smith’s previous films I’ve always been a big fan of Kevin Smith; “the pop-culture guru.” Since Smith came on the scene in the early ’90s with his independent film phenomenon “Clerks,” the director has had his pulse on the fan-boy based pop-culture boom of the last decade. Besides continuingly making independent and low-budget relationship-comedies like “Chasing Amy” or “Zack and Miri Make A Porno” the director has made quite a name for himself as a comic book writer and comic book-culture aficionado....

A new comedy series is in the works starring Damon Wayans Jr. alongside father Damon Wayans. Per Deadline, the untitled multi-cam sitcom is in development a CBS. The elder Wayans is also co-writing the series with Kevin Hench (Last Man Standing). Wayans, Wayans Jr., and Hench are all executive producing with CBS Studios serving as the producing studio. While a title hasn’t been divulged, some plot details have been provided for the father/son sitcom....

Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum recording artist and actor Dave Matthews, founder of the Dave Matthews Band, will guest-star on an upcoming episode of House. Matthews will play “Patrick,” a savant and virtuoso pianist who suffered a severe neurological impairment as the result of an accident when he was a child. Kurtwood Smith (That ’70s Show) will guest-star as a former physician and Patrick’s father, who must make a potentially life-altering decision about his son’s treatment....

Don Mancini brought Chucky back to life on the small screen in triumphant fashion last year, and it was no surprise to anyone when a second season of SyFy and USA Network’s Chucky was given the green light. Now, actor Devon Sawa has revealed in a tweet that filming has begun on the second season, which will hit screens this October and continue the demon doll’s reign of terror. Chucky brought back everyone’s favorite possessed doll last year, along with some other familiar faces, to fans of the franchise....

Anthony Minghella, who directed Best Picture winner The English Patient, has died in London at the age of 54. According to the Associated Press, Minghella had surgery performed at the Charing Cross Hospital for a growth on his neck last week. Minghella’s publicist, Jonathan Rutter, said, “the operation seemed to have gone well. At 5 a.m. today he had a fatal hemorrhage.” The England native rose to success with his internationally-acclaimed film The English Patient in 1996, which won nine Academy Awards including one for Best Picture and another for Minghella’s direction....

Directors Guild of America President Taylor Hackford today announced the five nominees for the DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for 2010. “2011 marks the 75th anniversary of the DGA, making the celebration of this year’s five nominees especially meaningful,” said Hackford. “Their inspired films radiate the passion and unique vision of each of these filmmakers, who are about to become part of our Guild’s rich history. My sincerest congratulations to all five nominees....

As a part of the Disney+ Day festivities, the House of Mouse has announced some big news for the next Predator movie. The feature, which is officially titled Prey, is set to drop on Hulu in the summer of 2022. It had been shooting under the working title Skulls, leading to reports that the movie would be released under that title, but it’s now confirmed to be Prey. From 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg and writer Patrick Aison (Kingdom, Jack Ryan), Prey serves as a prequel, taking place 300 years before the main Predator series....

Days after the shocking death of Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis movie star Austin Butler, who plays her father in the Baz Luhrmann biopic, has paid tribute. At the Golden Globes on Tuesday evening, Butler won the Best Actor award for his role in the film, with the Presley family there to support him. Two days later, Presley was rushed to the hospital after suffering cardiac arrest. She was pronounced dead at 54 years old shortly thereafter....

A Quiet Place II star Emily Blunt wants her co-star and real-life husband John Krasinski to return as Fantastic Four leader Reed Richards in the MCU. Speaking with HeyUGuys, Blunt described Krasinski as a “huge fan” of the Marvel franchise and declared her hopes to see him reprise the role of Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic somewhere down the line.
