The History Channel has debuted three brief trailers for Season 3 of Vikings, which premieres Thursday, February 19 at 10 PM ET. While we don’t see much footage in this trio of videos, they are accompanied by the ominous message, “The world is ours” from a mysterious narrator. Travis Fimmel returns as Ragnar, along with series regulars Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), Jessalyn Gilsig (Siggy), Clive Standen (Rollo), George Blagden (Athelstan), Alexander Ludwig (Bjorn), Gustaf Skarsgård (Floki) and Alyssa Sutherland (Queen Aslaug)....

Samurai Jack season 4 ended nearly 13 years ago, and it most certainly did not end in a way that was satisfying for those who had been following the show. In the years since the series went off the air, it has remained a beloved entity and one that has been begging for a proper conclusion. Adult Swim is finally going to give that conclusion to us in just a couple of weeks and the network has just released a brand new clip from Samurai Jack Season 5 to help get us even more excited for Jack’s return....

Flixster Inc., producer of the world’s largest online movie community at Flixster.com, today announced that it has acquired Rotten Tomatoes from IGN Entertainment. IGN, a division of News Corporation, will receive a minority equity stake in Flixster as part of the acquisition. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The combination of Flixster and Rotten Tomatoes reaches a huge global movie audience of an estimated 30 million monthly visitors worldwide across multiple platforms: on the Internet, through web-based social networks, and via mobile apps for the iPhone, Blackberry and Android devices....

Blumhouse Productions founder Jason Blue is desperate to bring Jason Voorhees back to life in a Friday the 13th reboot, but would rather do so for the big screen, rather than the small. A television series based on Crystal Lake has been touted before over the years, with The CW coming very close to making it happen. But unfortunately for those would long to see it come to fruition, Blum is adamant that he would rather make another movie....

Actor Charlie Sheen recently revealed he will return as Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn in Major League 3 if the sequel is ever given the green light. The actor said that he’s doing “everything in his power” to get the sequel made. The last movie in the franchise was Major League III: Back to the Minors, although Charlie Sheen called it an “abortion” and doesn’t believe it should be a part of the series....

Screen Gems has revealed the new trailer for horror/thriller Quarantine, which stars Jennifer Carpenter, Jay Hernandez, Columbus Short, Greg Germann, Steve Harris, Dania Ramirez, Rade Sherbedgia and Jonathon Schaech. Who could have thought that a TV revival of The Karate Kid franchise, that aired on YouTube Red in 2015, would become one of the best revivals to date, and one of the biggest and most sensational shows today. While this is a Karate extravaganza on the surface (and this show delivers many impeccable fight scenes) the show was elevated by its amazing cast of characters. The show’s creators and writers, Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg gave these characters more than enough layers and depth to make us immediately fall in love with them....

There are certain traits that are heavily associated with some characters, to the point that they become almost expected. When it comes to Colin Farrell’s depiction of Penguin in The Batman though, one thing that we won’t be seeing is his trademark cigar. While almost every iteration of the classic Batman villain, from his comic book origins, through Burgess Meredith’s TV take, to Danny DeVito’s Batman Returns appearance, Oswald Cobblepot has always come equipped with a cigarette or cigar holder....

HBO has signed stand-up comedian Dane Cook to a multi-faceted deal that will include series, specials and other projects, it was announced today by Chris Albrecht, chairman and CEO, HBO. Among the initial projects under the agreement are a feature-length stand-up film, development of a scripted series and a comedy documentary series. In addition, HBO will have exclusive rights to Cook for all nontraditional media platforms. Cook will executive produce all projects with Barry Katz and Brian Volk-Weiss through his production company, SUperFInger Entertainment, in association with New Wave Entertainment....

James Gunn has made it clear that he would love to work with the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy again over at DC Studios. One of those stars is Dave Bautista, who for years many fans have suggested should play Bane in the DCU. While the former wrestler, who will be making his last appearance as the MCU’s Drax in this summer’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, has previously gone so far as to saying he would “love a crack” at the character, he has revealed that James Gunn’s plans for the DCU have most likely ruled him out of the role....

The Walt Disney Studios has entered into an exclusive multi-year first look deal with “Spider-Man” creator and producer Stan Lee and his production company POW! Entertainment, it was announced by Dick Cook, chairman, The Walt Disney Studios. Under the terms of the agreement, Lee and his production company will develop and produce all forms of entertainment. “As the father of such renowned comic book heroes as Spider-Man, The Hulk, X-Men among others, Stan is considered one of the most creative and inventive forces in the industry today....

In general, January is a dry month for new movies. But once in a while, a film that shows a ton of potential comes out. This January we already had M3GAN, a really fun movie that knows what it is doing, and now we have Door Mouse. We keep our fingers crossed, but the trailer for this film looks cool. This neo-noir mystery thriller is vibrating with style and flashy colors....

“Duplicity” is a good looking movie, with good looking leads, that adds up to a good yawn after sitting around for bored for two plus hours. The film begins in the present and flashes back over five years to the current event. Julia Roberts and Clive Owen star as Ray Koval and Claire Stenwick, former CIA and MI6 spies who have left the spy game for the world of corporate espionage....
