Employee Of The Month Review

Recently, I watched Dane Cook’s HBO-taped special, Vicious Circle, filmed at the Banknorth Garden in Boston–the guy quipped on everything from being sneezed on to breaking and entering. But even while riffing on sneaky girlfriends, Cook straddled a fine line that rarely offended. Maybe that’s why he’s so gosh-darned likeable: he’s the kind of guy, with an acutely observant everyday sense of humor, you could either take home to charm the parents or kick back with during a Wednesday night game of poker with the buds....

G I Joe The Rise Of Cobra Review

Finally, after a yawn inducing summer, we get a big-budget popcorn flick worthy of escapist fun. “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” has been vastly underestimated. The film is action packed, moves like a breeze, and has the guts to be a little daring. I honestly did not know what to expect from the trailer, but director Stephen Sommers has returned to the form that made “The Mummy” so enjoyable. He creates a wide spectacle, but never loses the fact that G....

Dceu Why These Potential Superhero Films Could Save The Franchise

With its big-ticket universe swallowed by a black hole of casting chaos, critical busts, and bizarre behavior, Warner Bros. appears to be reaching for the reset button with the DC Extended Universe. The franchise had a soft launch with 2013’s Man of Steel, continued with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016, and officially hit the skids with Justice League in 2017. It rebounded fairly well with Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Shazam!...
