Fast & Furious is preparing for their farewell. The successful franchise that began in 2000 with Paul Walker and Vin Diesel at the helm has become a worldwide phenomenon and already has nine films released, with a tenth and an eleventh ready to mark the end of the road. With the trailer for the next installment about to come out, the saga is inviting its fans on a nostalgic tour that covers each of the previous films, highlighting mainly the figure of Paul Walker, who tragically passed away in 2013 in a car accident....

IMAX Corporation announced today that Universal Pictures’ Fast Five will be released to digital IMAX theatres simultaneously with the action-thriller’s wide release on June 10, 2011. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead a reunion of all-stars from every chapter of the Fast & Furious franchise, along with some new cast including Dwayne Johnson, in the film directed by Justin Lin. Universal’s partnership with IMAX on Fast Five marks the studio’s return to the IMAX fold....

Fox has set the premiere dates for its new and returning series during the 2017-2018 fall season. Game of Thrones is a juggernaut and some will stop at nothing to get their fix of the hit HBO series. One of the lengths that many are willing to go through is to stream the show illegally through terrible quality just to see exactly what Jon Snow and Daenerys are up to. And as it turns out, “many” is a huge understatement, as a new report reveals that over 1 billion people illegally pirated Season 7, with most streaming it in vastly inferior quality rather than downloading through a torrent or direct download....

Part meta and part reboot, the new Chip ’n Dale: Rescue Rangers movie is pretty unique from Disney’s other live-action remakes. The film imagines famous cartoon characters as they’d be in the real world, as the titular Disney rodents are now the washed-up versions of the superstars they were decades prior with the original cartoon series. The nature of this storyline has also allowed for special appearances of various other well-known animated characters, and given the recent success of the Sonic the Hedgehog films, it was no surprise to see the titular speedster show up for a cameo....

Since the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the final film to gross over $1 billion before the COVID-19 pandemic, the Star Wars franchise has been experiencing a hiatus regarding theatrically released films. We have a potentially tantalizing new rumor regarding a fan-favorite character from the Star Wars universe. Writer-director David O. Russell has parted ways with the long-delayed political satire/romantic comedy Nailed, starring Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The director has withdrawn from the $26 million production after negotiations with financier Ronald Tutor broke down. THR has learned that Russell was not happy that producers Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher of Red Wagon Prods. were being squeezed to cut their fees in half....

Last year, Netflix announced that it will expand upon the critically-acclaimed 2014 film Dear White People with a new TV series on the streaming service bearing the same name. Writer-director Justin Simien returned to write all 10 episodes and direct the pilot episode, and yesterday, during a Netflix presentation in New York City, the streaming service unveiled the first trailer, which announces that the series will premiere on April 28....
