According to Variety, ESPN has for the first time landed a theatrical release for one of its properties – full-length sports documentary Through the Fire, about prep basketball sensation Sebastian Telfair – in advance of its TV premiere on the network. The Purge season 2 is bringing back a surprise character from the franchise. The upcoming season 2 finale will see the return of Ethan Hawke as James Sandin, who we first met in the movie that started it all back in 2013. Actor Ben Whishaw has joined the cast of Cloud Atlas for directors Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski. We reported back in April that Hugo Weaving had joined the cast, and now his deal has been finalized. The project is based off the David Mitchell novel, which follows six story lines that develop in different time periods. One plot line deals with a 19th Century American notary, another centers on a poor British musician in the 1930s, while another focuses on a California journalist in the 1970s....
