Martin Scorsese is one of the world’s most well known film directors. Throughout his long and vast career, Scorsese has accumulated a number of prestigious accolades, honors, and nominations including an Academy Award for Best Director for the film, The Departed. Arguably one of his best achievements is The Film Foundation’s World Cinema Project. Several extras were injured when they fell out of a truck during the filming of Valkyrie, which stars Tom Cruise as Germany’s most famous anti-Hitler plotter, according to The Associated Press. The accident happened Sunday evening while scenes were being shot around the Finance Ministry in Berlin, which was once the Nazis’ aviation ministry. United Artists said 10 extras briefly required medical attention after falling off the truck, which the studio said was traveling at less than 10 mph when wooden slats gave way - sending them off the side....

TNT announced at the SXSW Festival today that Falling Skies will return with the Season 4 Premiere on Sunday, June 22 at 10 PM ET, while revealing new footage in the second trailer. These scenes feature Dr. Ann Glass (Moon Bloodgood), who is still terrified that her newborn child isn’t exactly human, as the Second Mass lead by Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) continues their fight for survival. Stay tuned for more footage as we get closer to the Season 4 premiere date this summer....

There hasn’t been anything quite like the hype ramping up towards James Cameron’s first film in nearly twelve years. 20th Century Fox has even declared August 21st Avatar Day. What is that, exactly? The day audiences worldwide get their first taste of the new sci-fi mo-cap fantasy film, of course. The presentation will consist of the never-before-seen trailer and footage from the film that was previously screened for select crowds at Comic-Con 2009....

The first song from the upcoming soundtrack to Spike Jonze’s big screen adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are has hit Myspace.com. The song “All is Love” is sung by Karen O and the Kids. Written by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer, “ALl is Love” features a choir of children, and will be featured quiet predominantly in the film. The official website for Hellboy II: The Golden Army has just posted a fourth TV spot for the new film, which will hit theaters on July 11. Almost exactly one month from today, thousands of fans from around the world will descend upon Comic-Con 2016 in San Diego, where they’ll get to see sneak peeks from upcoming movies and TV shows. The official schedule won’t be released for a few more weeks, but earlier today, Fox revealed that it will be bringing 13 of its new and returning programs to San Diego this year, including Prison Break and The Exorcist....

Ahead of the Comic-Con panel earlier today, Fox unleashed the second, extended trailer for their upcoming series, The Exorcist. Widely regarded as the greatest horror movie ever made, The Exorcist broke box office records and terrified audiences around the world. Now, more than four decades after the Academy Award-nominated film, The Exorcist returns as a TV series. When Smallville came on the air seven years ago, fans were happy to see that Clark Kent was joined by his good friends Pete Ross and Lana Lang. They were slightly more perplexed by the addition of a newcomer - a crusading high-school paper journalist named Chloe Sullivan, played by Allison Mack. Chloe quickly became a fan-favorite character, and it was wondered how long it would be before she appeared in the pages of Superman comics....

It was announced by producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. and Sony Pictures Entertainment, that Chris Cornell, the singer/songwriter behind Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog, has written, in collaboration with Bond composer David Arnold, and will perform the main title song entitled “You Know My Name,” for the new James Bond adventure Casino Royale. Daniel Craig stars as the new “007” in Casino Royale directed by Martin Campbell....

Syfy announces a gripping new reality series premiering Tuesday, February 26 at 10 p.m. ET/PT which reinvents gladiatorial combat for the 21st century. Each week, Robot Combat League will feature tournament-style battles between eight-feet tall, state-of-the-art humanoid robots controlled by human “robo-jockeys”. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a turn as substitute host in October on The Charlie Rose Show has led former Disney chief Michael Eisner to a more regular gig on his own CNBC primetime interview show. Eisner will host Conversations With Michael Eisner, a bimonthly hourlong show that promises interviews with industry bigwigs and stars who exhibit what Eisner calls the spirit of creativity and innovation. Military advisor and actor Dale Dye discusses Platoon, his directorial debut, Falling Skies, and more There are several ways which actors first break into the business. Some attend performing arts school, some are plucked out of obscurity by those with an eye for talent, and some work their way up through a number of different ways. Dale Dye became an actor by joining the Marines, although he wouldn’t know it until he retired from the Corps years later....

The Defenders has wrapped filming, but some set photos are still making their way online. Even with the first teaser being released by Netflix recently, we haven’t really seen any photos featuring Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) in the full Daredevil costume. Until now that is. A handful of new images show everyone’s favorite blind superhero suited up and ready for action, but in a pretty odd setting. These new Defenders set photos come courtesy of the Marvel Netflix Thailand Twitter account and in them, we get to see Daredevil in the costume we’ve become quite familiar with....

Rob Zombie’s long awaited animated film The Haunted World of El Superbeasto is set to make its worldwide premiere On-Demand and on Pay-Per-View this coming September 7th. It will then hit theaters for a limited run on September 12th before heading to DVD and Blu-ray on September 22nd. We have an exciting new clip from the film that finds El Superbeasto battling Halloween II’s Mike Myers, as well as the red-band trailer....

Michael C. Hall returns to the small screen in new thriller series, Safe. Netflix has just released the first trailer and it’s pretty intense, teasing viewers to binge watch the thing when it’s released in May. Safe was created by best-selling novelist Harlan Coben, withthe show is set in a wealthy gated communit. The new trailer uses this to its advantage, commenting on the relative safety of living in a closed off world....
