Fashion icon Kenneth Cole will make a guest appearance on ABC’s award-winning comedy Ugly Betty in an episode that begins filming this week in Los Angeles. Cole will play himself, as he’s honored at a lavish “Black & White” Ball being hosted by the dysfunctional Meade family. The episode will air in October. Ugly Betty stars America Ferrera as Betty Suarez, Eric Mabius as Daniel Meade, Alan Dale as Bradford Meade, Tony Plana as Ignacio, Ana Ortiz as Hilda, Ashley Jensen as Christina, Becki Newton as Amanda, Mark Indelicato as Justin, Michael Urie as Marc, Rebecca Romijn as Alexis Meade, Judith Light as Claire Meade, Christopher Gorham as Henry and Vanessa Williams as Wilhelmina Slater....

Frank Welker talks Tranformers Prime, airing Saturdays on The Hub Simply put, Frank Welker is a voice-over legend. Anyone who grew up in the 80s, like I did, remembers his renditions of Megatron on the original Transformers, Hefty Smurf on Smurfs, Torch on G.I. Joe, and countless other memorable voices. He reprises his iconic Megatron role in The Hub series Transformers: Prime, which airs Saturdays at 8:30 PM ET. Universal Pictures and Gore Verbinski are planning a remake of the 2006 Bong Joon-ho-directed Korean thriller The Host, and has set Fredrik Bond to make his feature directorial debut and Mark Poirier (Smart People) to write the script. According to Variety, the story follows a town terrorized by a giant mutant squidlike creature hatched by toxins that flow into a nearby river from a military base. When the creature grabs a little girl, her dysfunctional family must band together to rescue her....

TBS has extended the popular late-night series Conan through April 2014, demonstrating the network’s solid commitment to the Emmy-nominated show and its host, Conan O’Brien. Since premiering in November 2010, Conan has been a hit with TBS’s core audience of young adults. The show recently charted its third consecutive month of audience growth. The success of Conan also extends well beyond the show’s TBS telecasts to include widespread DVR, online and mobile viewing; interaction through Twitter, Facebook and TeamCoco....

The DC universe on the small screen continues to expand. Stargirl, which will be airing on the DC Universe streaming service as well as The CW, is the latest show to join the ever-expanding lineup. The show is set to bring the Justice Society of America into the fold. With that, a Green Lantern and a new version of The Flash will be coming to the table. Comic book icon Geoff Johns serves as a producer on Stargirl, having created the character in the pages of DC Comics....

While many Star Wars fans were looking to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the original movie by sitting down to enjoy the premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+, it seems that they will have to wait just a little bit longer to see Ewan McGregor’s return as the Jedi Master. Disney released a short message from McGregor himself, which announced that the show’s debut will now be moving back by two days to Friday, May 27th, but on that day Disney will be releasing the first two episodes of the series to add a little sweetener to the delay....

While there may have been a lot of talk about a sequel to the 2019 live-action remake of Disney’s Aladdin, there has been much less said about a potential spin-off movie focusing on Billy Magnussen’s comical Prince Anders. While Anders was only a minor character in the Disney hit, his memorable appearance as the potential suitor of Princess Jasmine led to a spin-off being discussed soon after Aladdin’s release, and after almost three years, Magnussen has been able to give a very encouraging update on the project....

Disney dropped the teaser trailer for the new Pinocchio remake on May 31, 2022. It gave us the first look at the classic characters in the movie like Figaro, Geppetto, Jiminy Cricket, the Coachman, and the Blue Fairy. However, the trailer was utterly cryptic about the true star, the small wooden puppet who just wanted to be a real boy. We suspect they want to be hush about it to gradually show the adventure of the puppet instead of showing them outright....

You can bring home a Gus Van Sant classic in a brand new edition this October. Drugstore Cowboy will be released in Lionsgate’s Meridian Collection on October 14. SPOILER ALERT: Major spoilers for Black Adam lie ahead… Black Adam star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has responded to Henry Cavill’s confirmation that he is once again the silver screen Superman. As the heated Depp v Heard defamation trial continues, Eva Green has offered some public support for Johnny Depp. Back in 2016, Depp’s ex-wife, Amber Heard, publicly accused the actor of domestic violence. This was followed by Heard writing an op-ed in 2018 for The Washington Post describing herself as a domestic abuse survivor. Depp is suing Heard for $50 million, arguing that she was actually his abuser and had fabricated her abuse claims in order to damage his career....
