John Wick franchise creator Derek Kolstad has been tapped to write for the upcoming Falcon and Winter Soldier series. The Disney+ series is on the way and Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige will more than likely give us some more information about it and the other shows next weekend at San Diego Comic-Con. The show stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan as Sam Wilson, aka Falcon and Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier, respectively....

Fear the Walking Dead season 6 probably won’t be picking up filming again any time soon. While AMC has yet to specifically weigh in on the matter, some recent comments made by cast member Lennie James, who plays Morgan on the series, cast doubt on the possibility of them returning in the near future. Be that as it may, the network is proceeding as though they will indeed be back....

After a proposed Charmed reboot at CBS never moved forward a few years ago, it seems a different network is trying another approach. The CW, which is partially owned by CBS, has teamed up with Jane the Virgin creator Jennie Snyder Urman for another Charmed reboot, with a much different twist. This series will be set in the year 1976, and will supposedly connect to the original series in some way....

One of the greatest triumphs and tragedies of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight was Heath Ledger’s Oscar-winning performance as the Joker. While Ledger’s untimely death made the performance one of his final screen roles, there was never any denying that Ledger was an actor of the highest caliber, and where his career could have taken him is something that was sadly never to be known. Apple TV+ is a fairly new streaming service, having just launched its platform on November 1, 2019. Unlike other streaming platforms such as Netflix or Hulu, Apple TV+ only streams its original content. So, the platform doesn’t offer a big library of licensed TV shows or movies. Instead, Apple TV+ focuses on producing quality content over quantity. However, while they do have limited content, their expectations are high and the originals they do produce are excellent, as evidenced by the success of their recent original film, CODA, which just won three Oscars - one for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Troy Kotsur), and Best Adapted Screenplay....

The end of this most current season brought a lot of changes to Star City, with the death of Katie Cassidy’s Black Canary. The Comic-Con trailer revealed that Team Arrow will have a few new members when it returns this fall. It was also confirmed a few months ago that another fan-favorite character, Colton Haynes’ Roy Harper, will be back....

The popular 2010’s sitcom, Community, which saw a group of oddball students, attending a local community college in the fictional city of Greendale, garnered a large fanbase in recent years, after it debuted on popular streaming sites such as Netflix. Starring Joel McHale as Jeff Winger, the lawyer who is exposed for his illegitimate degree and forced to attend community college to rectify this, who meets Britta Perry, played by Gillian Jacobs, as they start a study group, joined by Annie (Alison Brie), Troy (Donald Glover), Abed (Danny Pudi), Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown), and Pierce (Chevy Chase)....

New takes on the 80s movies The Goonies and The Lost Boys are in gestation, but don’t expect one star from both of those classic films to be involved. Corey Feldman, a former child star who had a big role in each movie, recently addressed the planned reboots in a new interview on The Domenick Nati Show. The actor made it clear that he is not involved with them and figures that if these projects fail, that’s just fine, as they’ll be going down without him....

The Good A hilarious show that insults everybody. The Bad I sometimes wonder if racist or sexist people don’t realize they are being lampooned on this show. Ali G Show: Da Compleet Seereez is all you could ever want, all that there is currently available of the characters that Sacha Baron Cohen created for this show. There are three characters: Ali G, Borat and Bruno. Ali G is your typical British-Jamaican, rapped out journalist who’s very presence is meant to throw the stuffed shirt set off guard....

Following the animated superhero’s return on the rebooted DuckTales series, a Darkwing Duck reboot is in the works at Disney+. Variety reports that the upcoming series will be executive produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, and Alex McAtee of Point Grey Pictures. McAtee will oversee the project. No writer has yet been attached. Darkwing Duck originally ran on television for three seasons between 1991 and 1992. It follows the adventures of the vigilante superhero Darkwing Duck, the alter-ego of a suburban duck named Drake Mallard (Jim Cummings)....

Dave Stevens, best known for being the creator of The Rocketeer passed away March 10, 2008, following a lengthy battle with Leukemia. The artist was 52 years old at the time. Stevens’ creation, the Rocketeer, was first published by Eclipse comics in 1982. The character migrated from Eclipse to Comico, and finally ended up at Dark Horse Comice. Later, the character was transformed into a 1991 Disney film The Rocketeer, which starred Bill Campbell, Jennifer Connelly, Alan Arkin and Timothy Dalton....

Little has been known about a sequel/reboot of the 2007 comic book adaptation Ghost Rider and the new screenwriter spilled some new details. MTV Splash Page recently spoke with Ghost Rider 2 screenwriter David Goyer “It’s not exactly a reboot,” said Goyer. “I hate to say it’s more realistic, because he’s got a flaming skull for a head, but it’s a bit more stripped down and darker. It’s definitely changing tone....

Neil Gaiman, the author of the critically acclaimed comic book series, The Sandman, has given an exciting update on the upcoming HBO Max series Dead Boy Detectives. Based on the characters Edwin Paine and Charles Rowland, who first appeared in The Sandman No. 25, the series was first announced in September 2021 by HBO Max, but there is currently no confirmed release date. Fans of the comics have been eagerly awaiting the duo’s own series since they made their on-screen debut in the DC series Doom Patrol, with Paine played by Sebastian Croft and Rowland played by Ty Tennant....

NBC’s hit game show Deal or No Deal transforms itself for a special Star Wars themed “winner take all” episode on Monday, April 28 (8-10 pm ET) surprising two diehard fans of the popular movie franchise with the experience of a lifetime. Guest supporters cheering on the contestants include Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Chewbacca and R2D2, and in a surprise twist, Darth Vader fills in as the villainous Banker. In this two-hour “winner take all” episode, two contestants, Elyse McCrillis and Brad Flinchum, will duel against each other with the chance to win close to two million dollars....

Debra Jo Rupp, mostly known for her role as Kitty Forman on That ’70s Show, made many appearances on different 1990s sitcoms, including Friends and Seinfeld. However, in 2021, Rupp entered the Marvel universe for the first time, also in a sitcom. WandaVision, the miniseries created by Jac Schaeffer to stream on Disney+, is the first TV series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe produced by Marvel Studios and shares continuity with the rest of the films in the franchise....

The Good Denzel Washington has a knack for making movies like this work. The Bad Sadly, it becomes very easy to see the ending of this film coming. Mixing cutting edge technology, theories on time travel and the solid acting chops of Denzel Washington, Deja Vu works because it simply puts across the idea of how time travel might happen. We don’t get inundated with information, and when it seems like we might be overloaded, Washington’s Doug Carlin finally starts throwing things in an effort to have the science, and the people describing it to him, make more sense....
