Stranger Things season 4 has had to work around a number of delays thanks to the Covid pandemic and the sheer size of the bumper episodes, and that has led to some issues with its rapidly growing up cast. Now the Duffer Brothers have revealed that due to the obvious aging of its cast, there is going to be a time jump between seasons 4 and 5. The first seven episodes of Stranger Things’ fourth season arrived just over ten days ago and is already on the verge of becoming Netflix’s most-watched English language series ever, and with two more feature-length episodes coming on July 1....

Paramount’s new Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves has had its release date pushed back by four weeks, with Deadline reporting the film is now eyeing a late March 2023 release. The latest attempt to bring the fantasy role playing world to life on the big screen will be looking to avoid the fate of the 2000 movie starring Jeremy Irons, which was a massive flop. This is just the latest delay to hit the reboot movie, which was initially slated to hit cinemas in July 2021 before being a casualty of the Covid pandemic shutdowns....

Eminem, one of music’s most captivating performers, is set to take the stage at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. Eminem’s performance comes days after the release of his anticipated album Relapse, available May 19. Hosted by Andy Samberg, the eighteenth annual 2009 MTV Movie Awards will air on Sunday, May 31st at 9PM (Live ET/Tape Delayed PT.) Chloé Zhao is hopeful that other countries will not censor her upcoming Marvel Studios’ film, Eternals, because of the decision to include an openly gay hero, Brian Tyree Henry’s Phastos, who is married to an unnamed character, played by Haaz Sleiman. In a recent interview with IndieWire, the Marvel Cinematic Universe director addressed concerns about the precedent of gay moments being removed or banned in other countries. Zhao said she hoped the film won’t be banned anywhere in the global market, and she expressed her “desire” that theaters show the film intact so that audiences can have the full experience when it premieres on November 5th, 2021....

Joe Cornish is a talented man. Heading into the last few days before Spider-Man: No Way Home lands in cinemas, it seems that for some unfathomable reason the marketing machine believes that we need even more clips of the movie to make sure everyone remembers it is coming and help make it the hit of the year. I know, ludicrous, isn’t it? F/X is ready to roll with two brand new dramas. According to The Hollywood Reporter, F/X has greenlit the pilots Lights Out and another untitled pilot, which is based off an Elmore Leonard short story. Lights Out revolves around a former heavyweight boxing champion who struggles with identity issues while trying to support his wife and three children by reluctantly taking a job as a debt-collecting enforcer. He’s also been diagnosed with pugilistic dementia, which will eventually lead to the loss of his memories....

Back in October last year, the Sons of Anarchy and The Walking Dead actor, Ryan Hurst, had expressed his interest in playing the role of Sentry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Since then, fans have been praising for Ryan Hurst to officially obtain the role of the powerful Marvel character. Robert Towne and David Fincher are partnering up to pen the screenplay for a new Chinatown prequel series for Netflix. Towne is known for writing the screenplay for the original Chinatown movie from 1974, while Fincher is best known for his work on award-winning movies like The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and The Social Network. The deal will also see the two executive producing the project alongside Josh Donen. At this time, the deal only covers the pilot, and while the hope is for Fincher to direct as well, he is not yet on board in that capacity....

The hit AMC series Breaking Bad had its farewell panel at Comic-Con 2013 yesterday, just weeks before the final eight episodes start airing on Sunday, August 11 with “The Decision”. The network revealed a special countdown mashup trailer just for the SDCC crowd, and we have that video for you right here, along with the full panel video.
