Dark Horse Comics and Exclusive Media Group’s Hammer Films announced today they are partnering to create a series of co-branded original graphic novels and comic books. The anime movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero came up triumphant at the domestic box office with its debut in theaters. Though it was facing competitive blockbusters like Top Gun: Maverick and the Idris Elba movie Beast also making its debut, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero emerged as the No. 1 movie in the United States and Canada with a haul of $20.1 million. Christopher Walken is the latest addition to the star-studded cast of Dune: Part Two. Per Deadline, the Academy Award-winning actor will play the Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV of House Corrino in the film. José Ferrer previously played the character in Dune (1984). The Emperor was briefly mentioned in 2021’s Dune and remained unseen in the film. However, it was by his order that Duke Leto (Oscar Isaac) of House Atreides was sent to take control of the desert planet Arrakis from House Harkonnen, thus beginning the conflict between the two houses....

The release date for the upcoming sci-fi epic Dune: Part Two has been moved up, with the sequel now due to hit theaters on November 3, 2023 instead of November 17, 2023. Edward Norton and his Class 5 Films are prepping to shop a feature documentary about the historic presidential campaign mounted by Senator Barack Obama. According to Variety, Class 5 has engaged Endeavor partner Ari Emanuel and lawyer Andrew Hurwitz to make a distribution deal for a film the company is producing for release in 2009. The documentary has financing in place from Good, Green Film Co. and Citi Prods. Amy Rice and Alicia Sams are directing the as-yet-untitled pic....
