Judd Apatow has been one of the hottest men in Hollywood, figuratively (sorry Judd, but you said so yourself…) with his collection of off-kilter comedies that have touched a comedic nerve in all of us. Even with all of his success, that doesn’t mean he’s not above moderating a Comic-Con panel, and that’s just what he did with the panel for his new producing venture Pineapple Express. He first introduced us to the panel which consisted of co-writer Evan Goldberg, director David Gordon Green and actors Amber Heard, Danny McBride, James Franco and co-writer-star Seth Rogen, and then played three clips from the film for the audience....

The iconic actor catches us up on all of his latest endeavors “What comes first? Friendship or Fame?” The gloves are off and the first are out in The Two Coreys second season premiere, which airs on A&E this Sunday, June 22nd, at 10 pm. When last we saw Corey Haim and Corey Feldman, lifelong friends and celebrated acting partners, they’d almost come to blows in the Feldman household’s kitchen. From there, they parted ways and haven’t seen each other since....

Last year, months of speculation were put to rest when Marvel and Netflix cast Jon Bernthal as The Punisher in Season 2 of Daredevil. While production was under way, there were more rumors that the streaming service was considering a Punisher spinoff, which was eventually confirmed back in April. While very little is know about the show thus far, Jon Bernthal recently revealed how excited he is to bring The Punisher’s world to life....

Sony is set for a re-imagining of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid story through the book “Mermaid: A Twist on the Classic Tale” by Carolyn Turgeon, for Country Strong filmmaker Shana Feste to write and direct. The story is told from a different point of view, and has a darker tone than the Disney original. The story centers on a princess who seeks out to marry the prince of her rival kingdom, to try and save her own ravaged kingdom....

Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx is hunting vampires in the latest trailer for the upcoming Netflix action outing, Day Shift. Released courtesy of the official Netflix YouTube channel, the newly released footage from Day Shift teases the R-rated approach to vampire hunting, as Foxx punches, shoots, and decapitates his way through the blood-sucking undead. Day Shift is led by Jamie Foxx as a hard-working blue-collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted daughter....

Fans of the animated DC Universe have reason to celebrate, because Warner Bros. Animation is officially working on Young Justice season 3. Fans have long been clamoring for a third season of the very well liked and highly regarded series and the studio finally listened. A premiere date has yet to be announced, but new episodes of the show are coming and that is the important thing. The welcomed news came courtesy of the DC Comics blog and they also mentioned that a network partner will be announced for Young Justice season 3 soon....

Fans of horror, comedy, and the very particular combination of horror-comedy films about flesh-eating zombies, would no doubt love 2009’s Norwegian zombie movie Dead Snow. Directed by Tommy Wirkola, Dead Snow follows a group of medical students on a ski trip in the Arctic mountains. But when a creepy local inform them that a group of dangerous villainous are prowling the area, they must survive a crazy Nazi zombie attack....

During last night’s Hollywood party for the Blu-ray and DVD release of X-Men: First Class, I got to speak with young actor Denzel Whitaker on the red carpet. Denzel Whitaker stars in the upcoming thriller Abduction, portraying Gilly, the best friend of Taylor Lautner’s main character, Nathan. Here’s what he had to say about Abduction on the red carpet. I told him that when I first heard about the movie, that I had this thought in my head that he Nathan was kidnapped at birth by who he thinks are his parents....

Hulu and The Walt Disney Company today announced that Disney, through a subsidiary of ABC Enterprises Inc., has agreed to join NBC Universal, News Corporation and Providence Equity Partners as a joint venture partner and equity owner of Hulu, a leading online aggregator of video content. Upon closing, the agreement will enhance Hulu’s programming line-up through the expanded online distribution of Disney’s most popular current and library primetime series and library feature films....

Walt Disney Animation Studios looks to be bringing its viewers another treat, this time in the form of a magical, whimsical, out-of-the-box Strange World. Having had a stellar run in 2021 with many noteworthy releases, including the Oscar-winning Encanto. Details regarding the film have been scarce, in keeping with Disney’s tradition of keeping things hush-hush until the last moment. However, information that has been revealed regarding cast members and the creative team behind the project signal that the movie will most likely go on to become a hit among viewers, similarly to many of Disney’s other projects....

Dwayne Johnson has signed to star in the action thriller Protection, as announced by IM Global Founder and CEO Stuart Ford today. Protection will be directed by Simon West (Con Air, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, The Mechanic) and is scheduled to lens in New Mexico this fall. The screenplay was written by Brandon Noonan. Johnson will star as ‘Hombre’ in the $35 million budgeted, high-octane tale of a mercenary Mexico City security operative forced to smuggle the daughter of an under-threat, high ranking judge and the judge’s chief legal counsel across the border while being pursued by corrupt cops, drug lords and white collar U....

The long talked about motorcycle club drama Mayans MC is starting to heat up. The series, which comes from Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter, has brought in its first cast member. And it’s iconic actor Edward James Olmos. Mayans MC is a direct Sons of Anarchy spin-off that has been planned ever since that drama went off the air in 2014. FX has issued a pilot order for this new show, set in a post-Jax Teller world....

Now that Chris Evans is officiallyThe First Avenger: Captain America, casting has turned to some of the female roles in the film. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Marvel Studios has made an offer to Emily Blunt for the female lead in The First Avenger: Captain America. It was said the role would be that of the title character’s girlfriend, who is believed to be named Peggy Carter. While Marvel Studios has made an offer to Blunt, the site reports that she is close to signing to different projects and will turn down the offer....

We can count on another familiar face from WandaVision appearing alongside Kathryn Hahn in the upcoming spinoff series Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Originally announced as Agatha: House of Harkness, the series takes the WandaVision antagonist and shifts her into the lead role. The series has been described as a “dark comedy” with Jac Schaeffer also returning as writer and executive producer. Nothing has yet been revealed about the plot, but in a new interview with Vanity Fair, Emma Caulfield Ford confirms that she’ll be back as Dottie in the spinoff, though she can’t offer any additional details beyond her involvement....
